Continued advent calendar discussions. Please share thoughts, purchases and if you see any discounts!

@IlovePond no problem. Some are obvious, others aren’t, unless you know all the brands (which I don’t). They do dupes of skincare, make up and perfume, as well as candles.
There was another DE dupe, the polypeptide.

My Aldi does get a good selection but you have to be quick. I think the reason there was still DE dupes is because they weren’t with all the other skincare specials, they were further along near some homeware.

I have just been back in and the La Prairie moisturiser dupes were actually in the main skincare section, which I’m hopeful means they will be running this line for a while. I’ve taken a chance and bought one to try

I’m very aware that I started off wanting an AC to try different products but have spent a fortune buying bits and pieces in addition. I think it’s safe to say I’ve got enough to see me through to next years AC thread 😅

I dithered again on Selfridges and missed out. Probably for the best as I'm anticipating some expensive vet bills soon.

It is showing as in stock but only 1 left. It does say ‘frequent restock’ under it so imagine it will be in and out of stock for a while

If people don’t mind, I’ll take some pictures of what I got from Aldi and post them. Then those in the know can tell me if I have bought the DE and SR dupes I think I have!

I used to always get the Aldi caviar cream which is the La Prairie dupe. It is always available in the toiletries section and is a really good moisturiser. I think it’s about £7.99

Have tried a warming mask. Glorious. Would be lovely to pop one in with a get well card to a poorly friend. Great for migraine or sinuses.

The olaplex dupe has an amazing fruity smell!

I realize now the lip.oils were sdj dupes.

Here’s what I got in Aldi today.

On an advent calendar note: I had another look at ASOS and, although I like some of the things in there, there’s a lot I am not interested in so I think I’ll leave it. Good reduction, though - I think it’s good value for £66.50.

Just ordered ASOS for my Jadvent , I'll prob share it with DD19. £66.50 between us is nothing and there's 25 items.
Between us I think we will enjoy the vast majority of it. £2.66 an item
( I realise some of these are very small but the bigger ones make up

I've left it too late aasrghh. Last year I had the Liberty AC and John Lewis before that. I don't remember having to buy them so early but it seems I've missed the boat. Do they restock or is that it. Even Selfridges and Look Fantastic have gone. This is my main Christmas present normally.

@Lexy70 Fortnums is still available as is Sephora. Selfridges seems to be in and out of stock and it’s possible John Lewis might have a second drop - they have in previous years and it does say ‘currently’ out of stock.

I've just found the new thread and bought the Asos calendar with the discount for my teens so thanks everyone who flagged it!

@Lexy70 Also the Luxury and regular versions of the Next calendar, come to think of it. And M&S hasn’t even released yet.

Yes JL has a 'notify when available' button which suggests that they might have a second drop coming. It's getting a bit late now though. They've only really got a month left to shift them.

I think Liberty is still available too? It was the other day. I haven’t bought it this year as was trying to keep spend on ACs lower, but I think it is very good; SR Good Genes, some nice fragrance (Vilhelm Parfumerie and Bibbi), the Paula’s Choice and the REN eye cream which I really rate.

@IlovePond You got the correct DE cream. They also do one with polypeptide in a green box/lid.
I believe the vitamin C oil and the overnight oil are Sunday Riley dupes

Thanks @Thelifeofawife ! I have tried both the oils and they feel lovely. I will keep an eye out for the other cream.

When I went to selfridges to pick mine up the assistant said ishould re stock soon.
