Is it just a coincidence that the Space NK gwp spend is the same amount as the AC or might we have a surprise AC drop tomorrow?

Fingers crossed for the latter. Not that I need it or can justify it but I’ve never let that stop me before.

Having bought the Space NK without a GWP I think I’ll have the jump of a new drop is released that gives a great freebie.

I never worry about 'missing out' on a late GWP, I bought the Space NK early doors because I felt it was worth the money and I didn't want to risk missing out. I just bought the fragrance calendar on Friday and lucked out as it sold out shortly after. I'd far rather secure the item that I really want. I'd also be surprised if there's another drop this late, and with a GWP, without a drop then adding a GWP if needed.

Can someone link to the GWP please? I didn't get an email either, although I'm wondering if it's early release for high spenders.

My M&S arrived yesterday and it is very sweet with the bright little boxes.

My plan is to use items as gifts – I think a decent size body lotion that cost £20 is a better gift than a £50 tiny tiny bottle of serum (tho as an addict I would rather have the serum!)

So I am hoping there are some decent sizes in there... some of the boxes are big!

Tbf £300 value for a £50 price tag is not bad and compares well on that metric with the £1,200 value ones for a £250 spend.

@LivinInYourBigGlassHouseWithAView I also have JLP! I think I will also open M&S in Nov (so I can siphon off items for Chr gifts) then enjoy JLP in Dec.

I looked at the GWP and too many small sizes for such a large spend, I would like the eyeliner so will keep my eye out on Vinted/ebay for one.
I am waiting for Bridal Beauty Christmas box and then the Cult Beauty pouches and then I am done.
I have kept ASOS for my janvent and will make one up for December using all the bits I have kept from the advents I bought….went a bit crazy this year with Harrods, Liberty, John Lewis, Perfume Shop and Lookfantastic…I have probably sold half of each one and my whole skincare regime and makeup bag needed replacing.
I also bought a Hourglass palette and brushes…am in love with this!!

Might be tempting at £100 spend, but not £250 for me. Too many tiny things. The make-up bits and the Biossance oil are decent but I don't need all those plastic tubes cluttering up my house. I think I might actually have been more tempted by a smaller GWP with just the larger items.

They had no problem selling them without GWP, so I feel it is likely coincidence that the cost is same.

I hope they release more as few friends missed out. I didn't intent to get one this year but had vouchers gifted for my birthday in september and walked in the store got one of the last in stock. Rather impulsively went for the fragrance end of last week too - and now I am just happy I am getting them, the gwp wouldn't be big put for me.

Yes it's not even worth packaging 5ml of cream! Bonkers.

I rarely bother GWPs these days. The spend is too high, the sizes are tiny, and if I want something, I'd rather wait for a 20% off code.

I agree, and how is this environmentally conscious? Over the years they improved the sizes in advents, but went the to other way with GWPs.

Sister and I both stupidly missed the boat on H&B advent calendar for our mum: it’s now out of stock in both UK and Ireland. Stores in both places say they haven’t even had it into the shops yet. What are the chances of it coming back in stock? DSis thinks we should order her the M&S one instead but I wouldn’t be happy as I think she would regift nearly all of it. Thx

I'd be surprised if they restock this late in the day, but you never know.

I have to say an awful lot of the things popping up feel quite boring. I haven’t been remotely tempted.

Maybe buy M&S while you decide just in case that sells out too? You could always return it if necessary.

You could make her one easily enough. Maybe buy the John Lewis beauty box which looks great and pick up some other things you know she likes. Lots of crackers/boxes at the moment you could make a calendar out of.

The Hannah Martin OK box is such an improvement on last years- they really upped their game. It looks lovely.

Space NK Fragrance advent arrived, impressed with the speedy delivery. I only ordered Friday evening and it was bank holiday yesterday. Box is gorgeous.

I bought my Mum in Law (73) the Bonne Maman one last year and it was a big hit. I get her one every year to remind her we love her and make December cheerful - she’s had beer, cheese, and this one and it’s definitely the favourite.
