..does it make my arse look enormous and the dress a bit meh?

The Dress

I was thinking with fantastic necklace, a shrug, fascinator and incredible shoes.

I want to wear this to get married and party (low-key, low-key, low-key) in June.

Obviously I need a different bra (duh)

SO whaddya think?

Oh god please frame it nicely I do really like this dress and am actually hoping you'll agree.

Go on say its nice and can be made extra special with accessories [hopeful]

I think it's lovely and you look fantastic in it. (and your cleavage looks fab, I nearly typed 'nice tits' but realised that makes me sound like pervy truck driver and I'm not!)

OverMyDeadBody · 30/03/2008 21:19

Well I think it is really nice!

Maidamess · 30/03/2008 21:20

I think the dress is lovely, and really suits you. Makes your boobs look great. glad you said you were changing the shoes, something pointy would be better. How about a little swing jacket with 3/4 length sleeves rather than a shrug?

WideWebWitch · 30/03/2008 21:20

Agree about diff shoes

dizzydixies · 30/03/2008 21:21

lovely although you need to start with a head before adding accessories

barnstaple · 30/03/2008 21:21

I think you look fantastic. (and agree with WWW - I'm very jealous!)

Pesha · 30/03/2008 21:21

Lol WWW

I was also thinking your boobs look fab! Doesnt make your arse look big at all.

Its lovely and would be even better with some great accesories.

Shoes are not so good but presumably they're not the ones you're planning on wearing?

iamdingdong · 30/03/2008 21:22

you look fab in it have a lovely time

S1ur · 30/03/2008 21:22

Thank you thank you (phew!)

Yes those shoes are nice enough and colour suits but I think something pointier, possibly silver? mmm not sure saw these earlier

The idea with a shrug is to dress it up so a little jacket could work or maybe a wrap? what do you think?

OP posts:
cocolepew · 30/03/2008 21:22

Very nice. Not a big arse in sight.

Oh and nice tits.

hairtwiddler · 30/03/2008 21:23

You've got a great figure and the dress looks fantastic on.
What's a shrug???

Twiglett · 30/03/2008 21:24

cleavage is fab, waistline is fab, arse looks fine .. but skirt is a bit meh and I'm not sure of the length

S1ur · 30/03/2008 21:24

Actually dizzy I was hoping a fascinator would do as a substitute for a head. I don't want my face bad makeup to bring the look down

although if it swishes I'll give it additional credit and it would pass .. so does it swish when you twirl and float coming down stairs?

Twiglett · 30/03/2008 21:26

ahem .. is that fruitshoots in yer window?

Maidamess · 30/03/2008 21:26

I'm sorry but how gorgeous would this look

WideWebWitch · 30/03/2008 21:26

I'm not keen on the silver shoes tbh

It's such a lovely dress that I think it would be a shame to wear a shrug over it, it would spoil the line

but ignore me, am no fashionista.

lou33 · 30/03/2008 21:27

its nice, i would wear it with different shoes though

the dress suits you

WideWebWitch · 30/03/2008 21:28

Well I just went back to see and they DO look like fruit shoots, ha ha ha

S1ur · 30/03/2008 21:28

Twig, I have so ummed and ahhed about length. Should it be long, that would be more traditionally. BUT. we are being very anti tradition and I don't want an evening gown as such, so I was hoping this calf length would be better for a whole day affair in summer.

Tis a quick registry job wioth lunch at Italian with family and then party at ours with mates.

ooh and the skirt which you can't really tell in pics, is 3-layered silk, then embroidered business then lace on top.

TillyScoutsmum · 30/03/2008 21:28

I think its lovely... maybe strappy shoes to elongate legs (not that they're short or anything)

Wrap might be nice (chiffony/floaty).. Nothing that covers neckline too much

dizzydixies · 30/03/2008 21:28

omsl - would certainly save on cost of hairdo and removes need for a veil lol

like shape/height of shoe but not the pattern on them

I wore plain silver pointy court shoes when I got married (also in blue) but it was 4yrs ago from debenhams though

PeachesMcLean · 30/03/2008 21:28

Maidamess, that's exactly the kind of thing I was thinking of to go with it.

Agree re the length of the skirt though, but don't worry, norks make up for it.
