..does it make my arse look enormous and the dress a bit meh?

The Dress

I was thinking with fantastic necklace, a shrug, fascinator and incredible shoes.

I want to wear this to get married and party (low-key, low-key, low-key) in June.

Obviously I need a different bra (duh)

SO whaddya think?

in fact excuse my language but you need fuck off shoes.

you need really really amazing to die for shoes if you're going for that length.

you will be supremely gorgeous on your wedding day in that case.

i like the caribou if you must do shrugthing.

fishie · 30/03/2008 21:43

or red? would be high contrast for party. if grey suits you then purple and blue do too.

S1ur · 30/03/2008 21:43

Thank you, this is better than wine. May have to print this thread to mirror permanantly.

Oliveoil · 30/03/2008 21:45

maybe too chunky, not sure?

Maidamess · 30/03/2008 21:45

is your dress grey?if so, waddabout these? I have codes for 20% off debenhams and free delivery!

S1ur · 30/03/2008 21:47

Tilly which shoes? being a bit dumb here (possibly the flattery gone to my head)

I don't really want a wrap just worried that the straps might look a little normal summer dress otherwise but I would be very happy without.

Hair - toying with getting a short style but more likely a up do with little things (flowers, sparkles ?)

Dress is perfect on you.
You have a lovely figure bitch

One thing, dont wear shoes, go for strappy sandals.
The dress is to light for shoes iyswim.
Floaty dresses need sandals and straps, solid figure hugging dresses need shoes.

pointydog · 30/03/2008 21:49

you look fabulous. Agree with others about different shoes.

eternalstudent · 30/03/2008 21:49

Love the dress, hate the shoes.

Serious boob

Kindersurprise · 30/03/2008 21:50

Dress is lovely.

Going to copy QS and say enviable cleavage instead of nice tits.

No to the furry shrug. The wedding is in June.

The silver one was better, but don't know how it would look with the ruched waist bit on the dress.

Heathcliffscathy · 30/03/2008 21:50

source some lilac-y silver roses and put them in your hair this kind of colour would be stunning

Hair - you need longer rather than shorter hair and up imo

if you had a wrap, would you not be pulling it on and off your shoulders all day and getting annoyed? a jacket or shrug (not fur!) may be better

Heated · 30/03/2008 21:51

What about an ivory stole rather than a shrug, so you don't detract from your assets? These two are floaty, but saw an amazing diaphanous one at the weekend that was more stiffened but can't find it at the minute

Interesting thought nbg have to ponder that one.

Olive I like the style but not so much the colour.

Maid yes those are very good, will add to shortlist. But are they too simple, or is that better since dress is already detailed?

Those shoes Oliveoil suggested are making me dribble.

Heated · 30/03/2008 21:52

sorry stuffed up the link, will try again

Oliveoil · 30/03/2008 21:52

my friend had red flowers in her hair when she got married (to match her red velvet shoes)

you need more not less on your wedding day imo

Beauregard · 30/03/2008 21:52

Slur you look amazing and dress is gorgeous.

S1ur · 30/03/2008 21:54
