Are white skinny jeans a massive no no ?

I've just found a lovely pair of
Fit really well
None see through
Absolutely love them
Apparently they aren't in fashion tho which is making me question them
Are they that bad ?
I was thinking with sandals and a tee in summer
Just a basic outfit

I wouldn’t personally wear them but think they can look nice on some people!
I genuinely have no idea what’s in fashion or what’s not, or how this is decided, I do just wear what I like and what makes me feel good so I’m probably not the one to ask 😂

I think you would have to have a very good figure and rather long legs. Can't imagine white skinny jeans suiting many people. But if you are happy and comfortable wearing them, then crack on @pritchartcc

Are they paint on skinny or a little gap around the ankle skinny. Former would look a little out of style right now. The latter would be fine.

I've never stopped wearing skinny jeans because they aren't in fashion. They suit me and I like them so I wear them as well as other styles depending on the outfit.

No they are the skinny jeans that arent as tight around the ankle (if that makes sense )

Fashion isn't dictated by MN but there are trends. Whether you choose to follow them or not is p to you but most people don't like looking dated
That whole thing where women in particular but also some male celebrities who wear what was cool during their heyday that makes them look a bit tragic is a thing most people want to avoid.

They may then be more of a slim leg which is pretty classic. Skinny paint on jeans are a trend rather than classic.
I'm sure if you style them well you'll look great

In general I think they can age you, and also look a little cheap. That said I’m sure some people can pull them off and look wonderful and we don’t all have to follow the same fashion rules

I love mine, I’m 5ft 1 and think I look good in them, they come out every year, I think they are a classic look rather than a trendy look & shops still stock them so some are still making the purchase.

I still wear mine sometimes on holiday in the evening, they suit me.

I don’t like the wide leg trend at the moment, I have been on a few night outs and the trousers look like a uniform for middle aged women.

Why does it matter if they are supposedly in fashion or not? If you like the jeans and they fit well, buy them.

Who cares? My very fashionable (ex model) cousin has them as her uniform. I always think it's daring as she lives in central London and has a dog! I couldn't keep them clean for five minutes.

They sound cool, what would you wear on your feet and top? I miss my white jeans, usually worn with Birkenstocks and long top + scarf or boots.

If you are poised and elegant enough not to immediately sit in something / stain them with your lunch, then go for it!

No idea what's in but I think most white clothing looks a bit odd.

If you’re bothered about current fashion trends- which is what you asked about- I think the answer is that white jeans are in as long as they aren’t skinny.

I love mine. I don't care what's in fashion. I wear what I like and i wear what suits me.

I'm 5'6" with really long legs and am quite sim (except for my tummy!) I love them with converse hi tops and a t shirt.
