You just WANT it but you won’t or can’t buy it because it’s too impractical, too expensive, not a necessity, not sensible, unreasonable, etc. Every so often you’ll look at it online, sigh longingly, give the screen a loving stroke and sadly close the page.

With my first pay cheque I bought a similar pair of boots. 25+ years on I still love them and wear them. Classic shape, versatile colour … price per wear might be better then you think!

A chunky Hermes cuff bangle. I have loved them for years but they are sooo expensive and definitely not within my budget. I have several high street versions but would love the real thing one day.
