Welcome to week 2 of the second WWW 10year younger boot camp of 2008. Hello everyone.

Anyone can join, we promise it works and you will feel and look better - and maybe younger - if you follow these rules.

This is about being healthy and feeling and looking better as a result. It's not a diet (although weight loss does seem to occur fairly frequently)

THE RULES ARE:

  • Sunscreen at all times, even though it's winter
  • No or little booze in the week. Wine at the weekend is allowed if you want it
  • Walking is important, a small amount every day if possible. 30 mins if you can. Many of us have an Omron pedometer
  • Lots of water, aim for 2 litres a day
  • Apply body cream as often as possible
  • Use hand cream/foot cream too, we recommend Flexitol, which is fantastic stuff
  • Go to bed early, by 10.30pm if pos
  • Eat healthily
  • Be happy

The idea is that at the end of six weeks we all feel happier, healthier and glow with the good food, sleep, exercise, water and lack of sun damage.

I am eating G&B chocolate

I just can't seem to help myself

must go to the gym tomorrow

ds2 made a speedy recovery BTW, thanks to all who wished him better.

Can I join in please? I have been trying reasonably hard, if a little erratically, to drink less, eat more healthily and look after myself more since New Year. I have lost about 6lbs quite gradually but come to a standstill...need a kick start and some support please! So, today:

  • Sunscreen oops, not today
  • Wine with lunch and again this evening, but it is the w/e
  • Walking - went to gym yesterday and have been for a walk with DTs today, they were on bikes, may get a Omron pedometer
  • Lots of water - no where near enough
  • Apply body cream as often as possible - must try harder
  • Use hand cream/foot cream too, - hand cream yes, foot cream I will have to get used to
  • Go to bed early - no problem, can't cope if I don't!
  • Eat healthily - not bad today, museli, chicken, roast pots, cabbage, carrots, breadsticks, cheese
  • Be happy - have had a lovely day today so feeling happy, but with that sunday night apprehansion for the week ahead (but a short week, so )

Welcome iamding. Try and get in the habit of drinking more water - it's so good for many things and will even help you lose weight.

Hope everyone has a better bootcamp day tomorrow. New thread???

I got up and did DCs breakfast and started on the animals but halfway through I had to come back indoors and collapsed into a kitchen chair with total fatigue. It's so unlike me. I went back to bed around 10am and slept until 3pm. Baby kicking like mad and sciatica awful.

I've eaten cereal, toast & marmite, minestrone soup, Big Mac & fries, handful of Minstrels and just had my first raw carrot of the day! Playing catch up with the water but certainly over a litre already. No coffee.

Face & hand cream yes, body & feet no. Happy that it's a short week.

Bootcamp-wise the weekend has been a write-off.
