So, I like the idea of this tea dress, but what is with that gap between the boobs thing - what goes there?

I need to find something affordable to wear to an evening event type thing. I would quite like to wear a nice dress. But not too eveningy or floaty or anything - just nice.

And this tea dress is ok shape but i'm alarmed by the big gap thing between the breasts [http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId =19551&storeId=12556&productId=624224&langId=-1&categoryId=&parentcategoryrn= what's that all about?]

Can anyone find a nicer one, but not too expensive? Please?

FrannyandZooey · 29/02/2008 18:21

the first red dress was SO FAB
but the second one is pretty too

FrannyandZooey · 29/02/2008 18:21

nah Twig it is the principles red one we have talked her into

Boco · 29/02/2008 18:22

What? But everyone loves the red one so far, don't give me doubts. And anyway, it's an art thing, artists are supposed to look a bit flamboyant no?

Bee, I asked today if I could bring a friend and they said NO Makes it much less fun and slightly more intimidating.

I have to wear a name badge apparently

FrannyandZooey · 29/02/2008 18:22

FrannyandZooey · 29/02/2008 18:23

I'm so caught up in this I've just realised I necked a whole glass of wine in a matter of seconds...and we haven't even established hair up or down!

MrsCarrot · 29/02/2008 18:26

How annoying - would suit you perfectly. Red good too though

Boco · 29/02/2008 18:29

Good question Whizz. Have fairly long hair, so maybe up. Although have a kind of long fringe so usually doesn't look that neat even up.
