So, I like the idea of this tea dress, but what is with that gap between the boobs thing - what goes there?

I need to find something affordable to wear to an evening event type thing. I would quite like to wear a nice dress. But not too eveningy or floaty or anything - just nice.

And this tea dress is ok shape but i'm alarmed by the big gap thing between the breasts [http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId =19551&storeId=12556&productId=624224&langId=-1&categoryId=&parentcategoryrn= what's that all about?]

Can anyone find a nicer one, but not too expensive? Please?

I have a tunic a bit like that one - but with a collar and thick material and slightly fitted. It would be in fitting with the whole art thing, could wear a beret with it? [joking about beret]

It's like a private view, but with other things.

a fitted tunic would be ok, but the red dress is the nicest

Boco · 29/02/2008 18:10

FrannyandZooey · 29/02/2008 18:14

GetOrfMoiLand · 29/02/2008 18:15

boco yes i only looked at the prices after I posted the link.

The new look site has a load of really nice dresses for about £25.

And also (don't laugh) SIL bought a gorgeous teal green wrapover dress in jersey material, looked amazing with black opaques and chunky platform courts, it was 320 from Bay Trading, of all bloody places (can't find linke)

Bbbee · 29/02/2008 18:15

oh yes ladies - we are talking divine figure - the stuff that was made for!

Boco · 29/02/2008 18:15

Gosh Boysontoast that one would feel a bit 'Carry On', i'd probably shriek 'oops pardon!' a lot.

Red dress is definitely winning, i keep looking at it, it's pretty, it's very red. Do I suite red i don't know, but it's so pretty. I'm going to go and try it on!

Woo hoo!

GetOrfMoiLand · 29/02/2008 18:16
