Haeckels subscription box

No spoilers please, but had anyone had their August box yet? Last month I received it on July 1st but I've not even had a dispatch email yet.

This made me giggle.

I've had Liberty and found it difficult to spend the money. I'll try Pelegrims too.

I lit the second candle we received last night. Does it smell the same as the first one to anyone else?

Yes, that one. It smells the same as the one we got last year.

I bought the first one (harvest) recently as I loved it so much, and they're quite different - the beetroot is earthier and less "green" if that makes sense.

I really like the beetroot one (despite hating beetroot). It had an amazing throw. But my harvest one was pretty rubbish sadly (it died about 10% of the way through).

Just picked up my box from next door. Agree with @Cyclingmummy1 - great value, not wildly exciting but all things I will use. Two of them I've purchased before so glad to have back ups.

Reading the Discord spoilers thread, it seems like people have received a variety of products in this last subscription box. As if Haeckels just threw whatever in. I guess we'll find out in our own mini-MN 'experiment' once we all have our boxes.

Yes I read that. I skipped this box and am having FOMO especially now that's it for the monthly boxes. I had 10/12 of these subscriptions boxes.
TBH not interested in any of the products In the last one.
I thought I'd feedback on the products I received.
Marine oil (purchased again)
Soap (ditto)
Serum
Just started the eye cream and I quite like it.
Lip balm, has gone a bit gritty.
SPF sun lotion, liked the texture but became very attractive to wasps
Toners OK, even stinky one (won't purchase)
Cleanser used one and then gifted other
Working way through shower gel
Gifted the seaweed bath & hand cream so never got to try them
Gifted large candle
DS2 likes seaweed tea
Like the fragrance.
Marmite product: room sprays x 2

Forgot the hair products which I disliked...

I wondered why the 'leaflet' didn't have any product descriptions. I hope they get it right if they relaunch but I don't think I'll be subscribing.

Both my boxes have arrived!

The Pelegrims one is very much how the Haeckels one used to be in the early days (which makes me happy!).

Will wait for everyone to confirm receipt of their boxes before blabbing.

I've had my last Haeckels box - intrigued by what other people got...

I got marine cleanser, hand balm and triple Algae Hair Complex in my box. The first two I use and am pleased about but the hair complex is now on Vinted. I've got my Pelegrim's box arriving in the next hour. Can't wait.

I hope I wasn't giving anything away as everybody seems to be getting random stuff in the Haeckel's box.

Damn @nicnicspicnic I prefer your Haeckels box to mine! I will be putting 2 of my 3 items on Vinted.
