Haeckels subscription box

No spoilers please, but had anyone had their August box yet? Last month I received it on July 1st but I've not even had a dispatch email yet.

@Cyclingmummy1 I just checked my emails and Haeckels emailed me today saying that Royal Mail had told them they couldn't deliver my box because it was damaged. Haeckels think it was yet another box that the body wash leaked all over in transit. So I get a choice of waiting until later in the month when they have restocked bottles of body wash or accepting a bottle of body lotion now instead. They don't want to resend any of the innovation refills of body wash as they realise that there is clearly a problem with that batch as so many have leaked in transit.🙄

I saw on Discord that a few people are still waiting - and Haeckels have had some failed deliveries from Royal Mail, possibly because of the product leaking? Maybe best to get in touch with them if you haven’t heard anything

I said I'd wait for the restock of body wash.

I'm a bit fed up but at least they proactively contacted me. I won't be renewing my annual subscription though as there seems to be some sort of problem pretty much every month. The first 3 boxes were great but when they increased the subscription numbers, it went downhill as I don't think they can handle the volumes. It's very sad.

@HundredMilesAnHour bummer! I'd wait as well. It's a real shame as this month is a great box (sorry!) but it's so unpredictable.

Reading this I wonder if I should get a move on decanting the bodywash in case the packaging starts to bio-degrade!
I like the texture of the sun product.

@SmithfamilyRobinson I think Haeckels say do it within 5 days of receipt so yes, get a move on unless you want to do a test of how quickly the packaging biodegrades 😂

The outer coating was peeling off my packaging so I'm hopeful that it will decompose in the compost bin. DH will kill me if it doesn't 😆

My box is being delivered tomorrow! 🤞it's as good as last month's.

Mine is tomorrow too. Although I didn't particularly love last month's so hoping this one is an improvement.

I saw the spoiler - discord opened on that page - so I'm hopeful.

I've not tried the SPF yet, we've not had any sun but this weekend looks promising.

Glad I peeped on Discord. Looking forward to it. I am LOVING the body wash. And the facial oil. Will get to the sun oil but I have mostly used up all the other body/beauty products. I didn't get on with the hair products, I wonder whether they tested them in hard water areas? I think Margate is soft water. The soaps are pretty good value, once you carve them up.

As an aside, I've put one of the incense sticks from the box of doom in the holder in my living room and the smell is gorgeous 😍

No sign of my box. But Royal Mail do seem to struggle to deliver at weekends where I live, I frequently get "couldn't deliver today due to access" when access at the weekend is identical to access during the week. 🙄And actually within a few 100 metres of the sorting office, grr.

My box has been sitting in Romford Mail Centre since Fri afternoon. (I live in central London!). Hoping it finally starts moving again soon. 🙄

Excellent box, extremely happy - delighted by the repeat, and the newby is something I'd been hoping for.

@SmithfamilyRobinson I also didn't get on with the hair products - I have very very thick hair, so I wondered it it was intended for finer hair? But in the spirit of efficiencies, I am trying to work my way through them.

@jurassictart nope, fine hair here. I've been using the shampoo as a hand-wash!

Call me cynical but Haeckels send out (60mg) Eco Marine cream in the subscription boxes and then a day later send an email out to everyone saying they've increased the size of Eco Marine to 100mg. One might think they were using the subscription box to clear out old stock. 🤔😜

I've been using EM cream for years now so I'm not complaining but their timing is poor. Does no-one on their team consider the optics of these things?!

I noticed that last night. It's a great product but yes, it looks like old stock.
