@thisisasurvivor Thank you. I was in a Tkmaxx store this morning and saw two wedding dresses for sale. They had an ivory Ghost dress and a White French connection. I actually thought they were nicer than mine and under £50. Can't beat Tkmaxx for a good bargain!

I got married in a Candy Anthony dress. Looked nothing much on the hangar but was a beautiful cut / fit. I’m quite dinky and the tea length dress was perfect.

Thank you @iamnottoofatiamjusttooshort , that's just what I thought about the dress. It went from the religious part right through to the after-party, and it's practical enough that I can still wear it.

@Defiantlynot41 , mine was a Droopy and Brown's one as well! A gold silk ballerina length riding habit, with a gold silk top hat and gold silk edwardian button ankle boots.
It's the most expensive thing I've ever bought (clothing that is) and it was perfect! We were the first lesbians to "wed" in our city and it brought a lot of press attention.
It's our silver wedding anniversary this year.
