This is exactly the type of dress I should of worn.

Unfortunately I planned the whole wedding myself in the space of a few months and gave hardly any thought to my dress at all. It was ok. Nothing special. C'est la vie

Oh I love those style wedding dresses, they look so vintage. I adore the dresses on Fairy Gothmother too...I'd pick one of those in a heartbeat in if iwas the marrying type lol

I had a tee length dress that was a blush pink underneath an ivory toulle so it wasn't in your face, I didn't suit white or full length!

the exact one I had was an Ella dress 5171 but it was from 2010 so I don’t think you’ll find it anymore sadly! I’m actually wondering what to do with mine so depending on size you could borrow/buy mine 😆

I wore a cream crossover front dress with blue flowers that I got in a sale at Jane Norman (remember Jane Norman???)

£19. Still smug about it. I looked fucking great but then I was a size 8 at the time.

What a lovely thread. We got married in May. I was determined to wear Nancy Mac but did a radical pivot a couple of months beforehand. I fell in love with this Needle & Thread dress, it fitted perfectly out of the box and was a joy to wear. It shimmered in the sunlight.

Beach wedding in tatty shorts followed by intimate reception dinner with a dress on.
I don't have pics from 1st wedding but it was electric blue velvet off the shoulder mini dress

Also I have to say what fantastic outfits are on here! Weddings are so individual- you don't have to go all out eccentric and different, neither do you have to copy everyone else's, just find things that make it special and unique for you, have fun with it, good luck
