I have a sample of Pirate Queen. It's strong and boozy so personally I don't think the weather is right for it yet. Nice though, I will be trying it once the wasps have disappeared!

Oh dear, @Jackydaytona 🤞 it's not covid, but definitely test what with the new strain doing the rounds. I'm the same when ill - if I don't feel like applying fragrance, then I know I'm ill. It's actually my test to judge how crap I'm feeling! 💐

I'm always sad when I hear about another dept store closing, @CrimsonElevenDelightPetrichor and House of Fraser was always better for scent than Debenhams and Boots et al. I love a good dept store, and always make a beeline for them if I see one (increasingly rare, sadly) when visiting a new town or city. A real treat would be an independent or region specific dept store, but they are a critically endangered species, I fear.

I have a scented conundrum!

Ds1 doesn't really like much in the way of scent

However, he does like the scent of lavender, rosemary and basil...and ideas for an aftershave/cologne??

I love lavender, @Jackydaytona but don't know much about herbal lavenders. Those notes sound so refreshing though (and will make a great present!), so I will be watching for any suggestions with interest!

SOTN is Samsara, as I couldn't be bothered choosing anything out tonight, and this was to hand. Went out today for the first time in over three weeks (medication side effects floored me), and was surprised to feel a distinct chill in the air this evening. Autumn is definitely here!

I've massaged to find some rosemary and frankincense beard balm and oil on etsy too :)

It's not good for my bank balance when I'm ill 🤧🤔

My eau my! And pirate queen arrived yesterday but I'm not really feeling up to sniffing atm 😕

SOTN is Kouros, because I'm never sure what season to file this under. I'm still not sure if autumn would be a good fit. I do love the smell, though.
