Amouage Rose Incense just arrived today - it’s the most unusual, divine, complex fragrance I’ve ever owned. It’s taken me 18 months to settle on one. I wanted something with rose, but a deep and powerful smell rather than sweet. I’ve travelled a lot to Oman, and this is the perfect reminder - roses and frankincense.

I like Libre too, but for a feminine lavender fragrance I prefer Mon Guerlain.

Ooh is Miller Harris still selling the Fumee range - Fumee Maroc was gorgeous but discontinued many years ago.

@Milomonster I found my Fumee d'Alexandrie in TKMaxx and loved it so much I went back for another bottle. I don't know if it's discontinued or not - I hope not, it's glorious. I knew Maroc was discontinued, such a shame as I'd love to have got my paws on that.

Avon Timeless for me today. I usually wear woody/spicy so this is a nice change.
I'm going to pick my fragrances for the next couple of months this weekend. I like to choose 5 or 6 to have out at a time. Looking forward to some autumnal choices!

Ooh, Timeless is a great ambery chypre @CrimsonElevenDelightPetrichor My mother has a bottle and I was able to test it a few months ago. It's actually quite similar to Miss Dior Originale, my scent for this evening, although MDO is a bit cooler and crisper, with more of a green edge, and Timeless is warmer and softer. They are close cousins I'd say.

SOTN is Miss Dior Originale.

Eeek - It's 100 days to Christmas today! 🎄🎄🎄 And I just know those days will run down so quickly - we'll be knee deep in baubles and wrapping paper in no time. How can the best part of a year have gone by so fast?

SOTN is Spellbound, for watching (as if to reinforce the fact autumn and the cosy seasons are here) the Strictly Come Dancing launch show. Was great - sparkly and glitzy, and just as it should be.

I was just thinking today that I should think about swapping my collections around. Can't wait! I love my summer choices, but I am so over warm weather. I remember getting my a/w perfumes out at the beginning of September last year, before the queen died, I think, but this year has been so warm I've had to keep putting it off as it hasn't felt quite right.
