Holiday clothes

Hopefully going on a ‘hot’ holiday this summer and will need to pretty much start from scratch for a capsule wardrobe, as all I’ve got in my existing wardrobe are one very light cotton’wafting’ dress and a couple of well loved very soft cotton shirts.

I’m small and a bit round these days - size 14.

I like the look of Arket linen shorts and trousers, so will go and try those on.

I mainly like black and white in the summer. Any ideas for what I should be looking for? Arket prices are as high as I’m willing to go.

The jersey looks very thick too, and I couldn't cope with that high neck in the heat, either.

I bought the yellow Zara dress and it's lovely and extremely light - however, because it's quite see-through, it also comes with a same-colour slip dress underneath, which I shan't be wearing as I can only just squeeze into it.

I'll be wearing it as a beach cover up so it doesn't matter, but for anyone who fancied it as a dress it could be off-putting.

See to me this looks like you're ready to jump into bed or threw on something that was lying on the floor. I just don't get how this looks stylish?
