I've caught the ear piercing bug and can't decide what to get done next. I currently have 3 lobe on my left and 4 lobe and tragus done on my right. Looking for inspiration.
Please show me your beautiful ears ☺️

I had my conch and helix labrets downsized over weekend changed the front of the conch for Tish Lyon 14k yellow gold CZ looks lovely and had the rook done at same time my ear is as to be expected a little sore and tender so waiting for that to settle and hoping they all heal as totally love them.

I can't say I won't have anymore as I've already lined up a few more I'd love to have like the anti tragus I've tried lots of times to have my tragus and they never heal up also had a forward helix and the same issues that and my hair gets in the way and my little ones always bump my face occasionally when getting them ready or carrying them so better to have piercings that are more hidden and less likely to catch.

But I'm going to have to give it a few months now before I even consider going back for more to hopefully allow these three to heal up.

Love seeing everyone else's piercings and jewellery for ideas 😊.

Sorry about the bad photo it's difficult trying to take a pic of your own ear 🤣

I’d go for a forward helix (or 2!) jnstead

This is a GENIUS suggestion, I don't know why I didn't think of it. I'm booking in now!

Ratatatatatouille · 07/03/2023 21:57

@peachgreen love that! It’ll look gorgeous. I don’t have the anatomy for forwards which is a shame because they’re beautiful.

Swiftbushome · 10/03/2023 19:53

@peachgreen that looks lovely. Have you seen photos if a triple forward helix? They look awesome.

Loved my daith piercing until it popped out at parents evening a few weeks after I had it done and I couldn’t find it. My piercer was miles away so stupidly I let it heal up and never got it done again :( all your ears look beautiful

Pickingmyselfup · 10/03/2023 21:52

Getting my industrial done tomorrow! My helix's are finally doing well, maybe because I've stopped cleaning them as much. My daith is still playing up, I have ordered some hydrogen peroxide which dries out the lump nicely so in a few days that will stop bugging me.

Give it another 6 months and I might find room for another piercing. I do like the tragus...

Swiftbushome · 10/03/2023 22:47

Ah exciting!! Would love to see a pick after you get it done. Good luck

I wouldn’t use HP on it. Just keep it clean with a wound wash / saline spray and dry it thoroughly after.

Swiftbushome · 11/03/2023 00:05

Omg!! I had to read that twice before I realised HP meant hydrogen peroxide and not the brown sauce!! I mean dont put brown sauce on it either obviously but you probably don't need to be told that 😆

It's the only thing that gets rid of the lump, I know it's not recommended but it works, had trouble with it last year and the only thing that fixed it was the hydrogen peroxide.

BeansOnToast32 · 11/03/2023 09:20

Beautiful ear @QueefQueen80s

My Daith is still doing really well, absolutely no pain or irritation bumps. The only small problem I'm starting to have is when I've used the hairdryer on low, I feel like I'm getting a bit of an earache even though I'm not actually blasting it towards my earhole? I don't want to stop using the hairdryer but I don't want earache either. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Pickingmyselfup · 11/03/2023 10:46

Got it done, husband has gone mad saying it should be a joint decision and he hates it. WTF?!

He's probably going to leave me now.

WTF! That's quite controlling.. it's a piercing ffs.

QueefQueen80s · 11/03/2023 11:01

Thanks @BeansOnToast32 @Swiftbushome 😘

FunkyMonks · 11/03/2023 11:16

@Pickingmyselfup I'm so sorry op your husband sounds awful why has he gone mad over a piercing? Really hope your ok.

Everyone's ears look lovely and defiantly handy this chat for advice and tips for looking after the piercings as well as more ideas for more at a later date.

I can't wear my overhead earphones at the gym they press against my ear which is uncomfortable on the rook piercing never had that issue with the helix or conch but my rook it's uncomfortable so don't want to risk it getting bumps so doing the whole gym workout without my music is tough going 🤣.

He's gone mad because he thinks it looks stupid, isn't me, doesn't suit me and thinks I should have told him because it should be a joint decision. He doesn't feel like we are a couple because I'm doing things without telling him.

There is a backstory, we have been having troubles and my first piercing I've had since being with him was done during that time and since then I've got more. He thinks I'm bored with life and having a mid life crisis. I have just caught a bit of a piercing bug and I like the way they look.

Initially I wasn't sure if the industrial piercing was me but it grew on me. Anyway it's not like it's permanent, if I hate it I can take it out.

Put some kitchen roll in your ear.

Ratatatatatouille · 11/03/2023 11:48

@Pickingmyselfup wow. A joint decision for what to do with your body? Absolutely not.

my husband doesn’t love mine either, says I look like a pirate 😂 but I don’t care and he’d never dare tell me i can’t.

Swiftbushome · 11/03/2023 12:21

Jesus I'm sorry @Pickingmyselfup. I really dont understand why anyone would feel that strongly about a piercing on someone else. I mean its not like you got a full face tattoo or something. And anyway they're YOUR ears. Hopefully he'll grow to like it or at least to mind his own business. And actually even if it is a midlife crisis then he should be pleased that it's taking the form of a few ear piercings and not running off to have an affair with a younger man! If you feel like sharing a picture I'm sure you'll get a lot of support on here with how lovely it looks.
My husband says I look like a pirate with mine too. He's not really a fan but he also accepts its not up to him. Plus he reckons I come from a long line of pirates 😆.
My mum and aunties and even my nan are (or were) big fans of tats and piercings too. My mum used to call me the "conservative one" if she was talking about my dress sense!
I must admit I did change one pair of lobe earrings that he particularly hated though.

Pickingmyselfup · 11/03/2023 13:02

Pictures attached. 2 lobes in both ears, double helix and conch in my left ear, daith and industrial in my right one.

Ultimately people object to a lot of stuff to do with me, I'm sure my mum will hate the new piercing too, it's absolutely not her cup of tea. She doesn't like a lot of the stuff I wear though, it's too clingy for her liking. I have hips and a bum which I know she thinks shouldn't be quite so on show, especially because I don't have any boobs so I can look a bit out of proportion. I should stop letting people's opinion get to me really.

@Pickingmyselfup
It suits you doesn't look daft or silly the piercings all look good.😊

I know what you mean I've tattoos and my septum pierced and my parents bless aren't keen on it thankfully my DH doesn't care.
I'm of the opinion it's my body and so long as it's nothing offensive or silly it shouldn't matter what others think.
I like my tattoos and piercings that's all that counts really.

Swiftbushome · 11/03/2023 13:40

@Pickingmyselfup your ears look great. Honestly. I'm sure he'll come round. My husband doesn't really like change and takes a while to get used to stuff. Is he a bit like that maybe?

Cotswoldmama · 11/03/2023 13:46

Love this thread! Here's mine I got the 3rd,4th and conch all in one go. I did have a third years ago but it was pierced badly and too near the edge of my lobe. My other ear just has two lobe piercings. I think I'd like to add a snake bite helix piercing on my other ear to balance them out but I found sleeping really difficult for about 3 months after my last piercings. The lobes healed withing 6 weeks. The conch took about 3 months and I managed to change the earring myself from a plain silver ball to a diamante one.
