I've caught the ear piercing bug and can't decide what to get done next. I currently have 3 lobe on my left and 4 lobe and tragus done on my right. Looking for inspiration.
Please show me your beautiful ears ☺️

Oh no @popgoesperfection what a shame. Can you head over to a piercing place today and see if they can sort it for you?

Im at work all day today so earliest i can get is tomorrow and i think it will be fully dosed by then…gutted.

Isabelle70 · 19/04/2025 15:22

I went and had my plastic Tragus swapped back for my diamond stud and had my 3rd lobe piercing:) I really struggled to get my Tragus to heal so I don’t feel that cartilage piercings are for me.

psuedocream3 · 20/04/2025 12:09

Interested to hear any recommendations of where to buy ear jewellery please, I have a daith ring from laura bond currently, but unfortuneately all the earrings I like are out of stock and seem to have been for a while on there. TIA

Ah well done!! I switched up my nostril jewellery for a new piece. I'm actually double thinking it now though. I had a teensy little CZ stud before but now I have a blue topaz. My (10 year old!) son came with me and he and the piercer both said it suited me but I dunno now. Colour on my face feels a bit weird. I've decided to see if it grows on my and if not I'll stick it in a lobe piercing and put the old one back in

Did you get used to your new blue nose piece? I love blue and bet it's perfect!
(I a guy and wear blue jewelry in my double helix)

Loving seeing all the piercings on this thread! I’m trying to decide what to get next - I feel like one of my ears looks too bare. Think it’s between another conch, or the rook. How painful is the rook?

Is it for the left ear? I think a rook would look fabulous with your other piercings. Can't tell you about pain though. I have the wrong anatomy. I have faux rook and that was fine.

A rook would look great.

I didn't find my rook any more painful that other cartilage piercings and it was a dream to heal

Bearsinmotion · 20/07/2025 07:07

I don't have the anatomy for a rook, so I have a forward helix, which is another option. I also have a double conch, which I love and was very easy to heal (the forward helix was a pain!).

wurlycurlywurly · 20/07/2025 16:27

I was also thinking of a double conch @Bearsinmotion did you get these done at the same time?

MintIcecreams · 20/07/2025 19:00

I have a rook and it was one of my least painful, I was very surprised. I think it would look great with your setup.

Bearsinmotion · 20/07/2025 19:08

@wurlycurlywurly yes - I have a single conch in one ear, double in the other. I wasn't sure what I wanted when I went in there, it was the piercers recommendation to get the double and she said it was best to get them done in one go. They were no trouble and I love it!

Pickingmyselfup · 22/07/2025 19:13

I've completely given up now, nothing heals.

The only ones that aren't causing me any problems at all are my lobes and my conch.

My helix has been playing up recently after 3 years, my industrial is 2 years old and I still can't really sleep on it, my rook is almost 2 years old and still has it's flare ups and my nipple's coming up to 2 years old are bugging me too.

My daith is 3 and a bit years old and it's fine unless I change it then it bleeds.

I have no idea what I do so wrong but the last one I had done was my tongue last summer and I took that out at the beginning of this year because it was annoying me. I've wasted so much money 😩

FunkyMonks · 22/07/2025 21:50

@Pickingmyselfup could it be the type of metal your body reacting to it have they all been downsized correctly.
sadly it could be your body just rejecting them all perhaps too much done all close together.
ive stopped having any more piercings now happy with my septum and my conch and rook.
my helix I had to take out after a year and a bit kept playing up and my conch took three attempts of piercing it to finally get it healed my rook has been good so I’ll leave well alone now and content with the ones I do have.

Yes it's all been done properly, I just think it's a me thing, most of the piercings I've had done from the age of 18 just haven't healed/been rejected. The lobes were totally fine but I wasn't even a teenager then.

Oh well!

Hello everyone - I have been lurking on this thread and admiring all of your beautiful stacks while trying to get up the courage to add to my “one in each lobe” arrangement.

Finally booked an appointment and after changing my mind a thousand times I settled on a second lobe, conch and flat - I’m so happy with it! Excuse the redness, they were only done half an hour ago. I am already thinking about what to do with my other ear 😂

@ZigAZigAhh looks great! It’s a slippery slope isn’t it, I find as soon as I get a new one I start thinking about what I can get next 😂 I finally decided on a double conch and got that done today, looking forward to switching up the jewellery once healed

Hello, I’m so glad I’ve found this thread. Having had my ears pierced when I was 10 I then waited 40 years until adding 6 more piercings for my 50th. I’ve just been back and had my rook pierced. It’s fair yo say ice be one a bit addicted! I’m now wondering about my helix in the ear with the forward helix. I’d love any thought/advice. I don’t want to over do it.

I'm not generally a fan of a flat but I think your ear set up would suit one

your new piercings look great 😊 I’ve only ever had a standard helix and a forward helix done, curious about your conch. How does it actually feel day-to-day, especially when you lie on that ear? Is it uncomfortable for sleeping?

My conch was one of the least troublesome - because it is tucked away you don't actually sleep on it

YourLemonGuide · 05/09/2025 09:23

That first one’s my ear, helix was a bit annoying at the start but once it healed I forgot it was even there. Really like the pearls in the second pic, so soft. It’s by an 18k brand called Lena Cohen, I keep thinking of trying something similar with pearls. They post a lot of curated ear ideas on their blog if anyone’s looking for inspo https://lenacohen.co.uk/jewellery-london-uk-designer-curated-blog-style-ideas/
