It's bonkers. Their customer service appears to be '(un)luck of the draw' based on the varying accounts on here, including mine. I imagine my refund was actually a mistake, but I was very honest in my inquiries about the missing serum and they initially said they would send it before later saying they'd run out and issued the full refund.

I know it was discounted and I shouldn’t complain! I just wanted some acknowledgment of their mistake as I bought it for a pressie! The fact that a drawer has a mini nail file is shades of the HOF funnel! 😁

I decided to just keep my Cowshed calendar as I can't face the hassle of contacting them. The nail file really is a joke though! It felt very out of kilter with the other contents to receive a nail file. I won't be ordering from them again either.

I'm surprised to find that I'm not all that fussed about the products actually. I've heard so much about them and while they're nice enough (and the little bottles do look cute lined up in the shower!), they're nothing special.

Has anyone picked up any good deals since finishing their calendars?

I got an olaplex set on sale from Space NK £36, a rose nuxe set from M&S £10 and a beauty box from Look Fantastic for £30 as it had a couple of items I wanted. I’m now signed up to the liberty drop so it’s no more spends for me but I enjoy hearing about other people’s buys.

Forgot to add - there’s a boots self care set currently tempting me for £38. I’m posting here instead of ordering it 😆

I am not even looking @Pinenu! I got a couple of the Space NK Christmas candles reduced as I really like them but nothing else. Knowing I have the Liberty box coming this month is helping any temptation. I’m trying to use stuff up. Have thrown out a couple of things I was using but not enjoying. I’m also going to Australia middle of next month for four weeks so will have a nice time sorting out what I’m taking from what I have. That should feel like a shopping trip!

I’ve just ordered lots of Susanne Kaufmann bath stuff from BrandAlley. Absolutely non-essential but there’s no way I could ever justify anything but the tiniest bottles at full price, and they are 60–70% off so …

I got a 500ml Mallow Blossom bubble bath and a 500ml of the oil with the rosemary sprig, plus a little trio of minis because it has the Mountain Pine one, which I’ve never tried.

I might just spend most of Feb in the bath 🛁

I bought a beauty box from Holland & Barratt as, at the reduced price of £12, it was less than the UpCircle cleansing balm that it contained. I usually use the balm and was running low (and hadn't had any non-exfoliating cleanser from a calendar!) so it was a bit of a no-brainer really. Nothing else in the box was particularly note-worthy - shampoo and conditioner bars that I've given to DP, soap, lip balm and another one of those miracle make up remover cloths (got quite a stash now!)

My focus is going to be on swapping/selling unwanted stuff now and I might even be super-sensible and use any money I get from selling to start a fund for next year's calendar!

@Peridot1 I admire your resolve. A trip to Australia is very exciting. I travel a lot (UK only) for work and sorting through my pile setting aside all of the travel size minis made it seem like less of a greedy mountain.

@LemonJuiceFromConcentrate a February bath month sounds fabulous.

@Roundaboot That’s a great price. LiB had a an up circle beauty box in the sale, it looked very good value.

I need to stop following this thread! 😂That UpCircle box is really great value and I'm very tempted to stock up but I won't actually need any of it for ages.

I love Susanne Kaufmann bath stuff, but it's just so ridiculously expensive at full price. Super happy with that bargain 😊

That’s interesting. Looking at the contents, I can’t tell if I’m tempted or not. Some lovely things but then tweezers, gua sha and eyelash curlers puts me off.

Ugh why am I still so tempted even after I ruled it out 😖 There’s only a couple of items in there that I’d really like, I’m trying to bribe myself into not buying it by finding something else for the same value that I actually really really want.
