Very good, Cowshed are sending me another serum, does anyone know which drawer is the nail file one? I think I will put it away for next year

Also as the swaps thread is not very active would anyone like Medik8 sleep glycolic 30ml, ExfoliKate 60ml or Escentric molecules with Patchouli 7.5ml

@CountryCob , I would love the Medik8, if possible, though only have much to offer in way if a swop!

my beauty salon uses those products & I am running out of current sleep glycolic.

@CountryCob , I would love to try the Escentric Molecules, if it’s still available. I have lots to swap as I had two JL AC, plus M&S & BareMinerals.

Also, and I’m not sure if this is the right thread to offer this but would anyone like an (empty) MAC hatbox AC (2022), before I put it out for recycling? It’s a thing of beauty but we don’t have the house room for it!

Still haven't heard about an actual shipment of serum from Cowshed despite their email saying they would ... suspect I'll be taking the AC back to the post office next week.

My serum has just arrived.

Mine's arrived too -I'm so impressed with Cowshed -they could have just asked me to return the calendar but there was no dithering at all from them -they simply said no worries I'll pop a serum in the post for you. All kudos to them for the way they have handled this.

Just popping back to say how impressed I am with some of the contents from my calendars already. For the last couple of days I've been using the Biossance Squalane Vitamin C rose oil and Summer Friday jetlag mask (I think both from LiB) in the morning and the Bioeffect EGF serum from Flannels at night and my skin looks as good as it ever has. And my diet has been your typical Christmas diet, and I've not been getting normal sleep, so even more credit to the skincare!

Cowshed are showing the contents of the advent calendar which I sent back as refill items for £50!

They've done that for a while. When I bought the AC for £40, there was also an option tó just buy the contents as a refill pack for £50. There wasn't a list of the refill contents but the photo showed that it was the nail file variation.

Cowshed are refusing to send me a serum, only offering a 10% refund. I'm trying to stand my ground but they are not budging

10% sounds reasonable to me

For a £38 serum, and the whole point of purchasing it? It's not reasonable to me, it's false advertising. I'll be returning it and staying well clear in future

I agree with Cockle. They published the wrong list of contents (last year's I think), but the public wasn't to know that when they ordered. I read every AC list carefully and priced them out as my budget was quite limited this year for any 'extras' for myself. I picked Cowshed at the £40 sale price based on the contents as a treat. Not worth it without the serum, frankly, as while quite nice, the products are also quite small.

I also agree with cockle. I bought it based on the listed contents. I'm guessing they've had a lot of complaints.

Happy jadvent to those doing it (can’t see a thread). I’ve missed having something to open and starting LiB today certainly helped with getting through the big clean up.

There doesn’t seem to have been much by way of sales that I’ve seen. I wonder if beauty retailers just aren’t bothering this year.

Couldn't see a Jadvent thread but I started on my Rituals calendar which is a mini candle today. It smells lovely but they are sometimes disappointing so I'll reserve judgement until I burn it!

I'm really hungover so this was a nice distraction today 😂
