No Jadvent for me. My plan is a proper stock take later in the week and a concerted effort to use things up and not buy anything this year.

Haven't started my Cowshed Ac for jadvent since i may be sending it back on Tuesday ... still not heard about the serum being shipped although they implied it would be in their response.

I started my bargain £23 Bareminerals AC yesterday. - I still have my sale Cowshed one to open at some point too.

I opened my bargain Bare Minerals for Xmas day. Very impressed, a huge thank you to whoever posted that originally. And well done to BM for honouring it. I've never tried BM make up before but the bits I've tried this week are great so they have a new fan.

I haven't started my bare minerals calendar yet. I'm a bit overwhelmed with products at the moment, so I might leave it a month or so and open it when I get the itch to buy something!

Anyone getting the NAP calendar?

At 40%off I have succumbed. I was thinking of getting the Vit C serum anyway and love the Venn (although only 20ml) so I managed to persuade myself it was good value.

The NAP advent arrived. The box is gorgeous, a lot bigger and heavier than Space NK but not sure how much of this is due to products vs actual box. I opened each door and put the products back, there are a lot of good products and nothing I wouldn't try. I am tempted to use the Barbara Strum body cream as face cream, I will see how it goes.

I think it's worth it at the reduce price, I will really enjoy opening it properly

I succumbed to the Jurlique at sale price. It's been dispatched now so reckon I may be able to start opening as a Jadvent later this week. Is anyone on the Jadvent thread?

Hi, sorry to barge in. I looked longingly at beauty AC this year but didn't get round to buying one.

Am tempted to treat myself to one for January though. I wondered if anyone could tell me which board the the January AC thread is on please- I can't find it?

Also, I've looked back over the thread to see which calendars other posters have rated. I've not managed to work out what NAP or CB are abbreviations for. Sorry if that's a rookie question- can anyone help please?

I am off to look for an AC to brighten up my January. I don't wear much makeup and have quite sensitive skin so I'm hoping to find a body / skincare one with some lovely scented treats.

I have H&B for jadvent but I haven't had time to open it. I will start tomorrow.

I’ve been doing House of Fraser I got in the sales for Jadvent. It looks very similar to the Flannels calendar but not in the same class otherwise (and I wasn’t expecting it to be, tbf). So far I’ve had a MAC lipstick (Mehr), false eyelashes, a teeny Estee Lauder ANR and Elasticizer today. I also have the M&S one that I started on Boxing Day and did one drawer in the morning and one in the evening - I’ll continue that after I’ve finished HoF which should take me nicely to the end of January.

I am tempted by Jurlique but the sizes are tiny. Likewise Lumene.
