@faustina Very interesting, so it’s the AW collection launching on Friday? I was in the Oxford store on Saturday and they mentioned they were about to send some of their stock back so that makes sense.

I tried on the orange tie neck fluid twill dress and I liked it but given we’re nearly in Autumn (huzzah) I just wasn’t sure what colour boots to wear it with. Black feels a bit halloween-ish, and not sure about brown. Anyhoo didn’t buy it as wasn’t 100% certain and at £189 o need to be.

The little mini catalogue says AW22. It seems odd because they only did that video yesterday and she didn't mention half the stuff. There is a really lovely big dark green melton wool coat too. Hideously expensive obviously

@Laska I tried the Oxford shirts last week, yes at least one or even two sizes down needed. I took one size down and returned as too big… next size down sold out sadly. I also like the look of the indigo one.

Well I got excited by an email that said AW22 stuff this morning and discovered it was the stuff already there.
She did mention there would be another video in September .

Yes definitely size down in the Oxford shirt, I’m interested in the indigo one too.

13th September the new video. It all seems very on top of each other, seems like no time since the between season drop.

There’s a couple of new bits now, bit random. I like this but obviously it is prohibitively expensive (probably wouldn’t suit me either!!)

Well the print is nice and at first, I thought it was a dress and then I scrolled. Just not the shape for me.

I actually like the look of that jumpsuit, but the price is pure ridiculousness, and it would not suit me anyway.

I'm itching for a sale, and there's not a lot I like in the current stuff so I'm looking forward to seeing what they pull out of the back of the warehouse.

Meanwhile I've been tricked! I clicked on a boots thread and as a result have bought two pairs of Grensons from their sale. I don't have any grensons. Their prices match with solivair so I'm hoping they're a similar quality. Do Solovair ever have a sale? Do any of you have grensons?

I like the fabric and the skirt. But the jumpsuit is very Andy Pandy - and I love a jumpsuit!

@dudsville - Solovair have a factory shop in Northamptonshire where I think you can get reduced/seconds etc. Never been though. There are lots of very cheap Solovairs on the TKMaxx website at the moment - I bought some dealer boots (their Chelsea boots) a few weeks ago but haven't worn yet obviously, but looking forward to!. Grenson do a brilliant sample sale in London a couple of times a year

Meanwhile, I've found a white cotton top from Thought as a possible alternative to the toast one, not as fabulous but i only want it for layering so I'm hopeful.

oh really @dudsville ? They must be one of the annoying brands that make themselves unsearchable on there. Try this link, and then the others from the brand will show as suggestions (hopefully)

I got a cheap pair of solovair in the plumo sale last year - I think some boutiques also sell them in sales but their website doesn't seem to.
I've watched the video - lots of useful basics but no stand out piece for me. I do like the shape of the orange dress they showed but not a good colour for me. Also pleased to hear they will have more tanks coming.
I'm on holiday and I haven't packed any toast which is unusual for me. I did clock a lady wearing one of the chambray dresses with a pair of novesta.
I guess that jumpsuit linked above will be one of those items made with artisans - ikat is Labour intensive to make I believe.

If anyone's interested, Thrift have a really good sale/final sale thing. you put in the code FINALSALE and it gives you 70% off the sale price. They have quite a lot of toast. I just bought some Toast trousers and a Margaret Howell top for £30. the pictures of the pieces aren't great, but it was fairly easy to see which things were knackered and which not.

I've just tried the thrift thing and it says the code doesn't apply to the things I want!!!

yes - just the sale things with the red prices. But you can search for brands and just pick from the pieces with red prices. Hope you find something lovely!

I found the solovair on tkmaxx but they weren't styles I'm interested in. And the Grenson boots have been returned. They seemed like really great quality but just so stiff, especially after a summer in Arizona's. I then had a look in Thrift, but I shall cool my heels.

Lots of Toast stores showing new stock on Instagram. The website says they will be launching the autumn collection in stores next weekend, so it might be the end of next week before new stuff appears online.

I didn't know about Thrift except that I have bought from them recently on ebay ( but a Hush item) ..
