Although I think there must be someone following me on eBay who is more or less my size and height with similar tastes as I’ve got someone who often pounces within seconds of listing!

@Trinitybean thats awful about your circle experience, I would be incredibly peeved. I’ve got some good eBay/depop bargains lately, a lovely blue cashmere jumper which I think is current season for only 60 quid! very pleased. I’ve just seen what looks like some bright red gabis on Vinted, never seen them before. I’m waiting for a dress to turn up from eBay which may or may not be too big. I’d say Kilver court is well worth a trip for sale items, they had racks and racks of stuff last time I went.

@ilovecherries - yes, crotch staining is not excellent. I've had a reasonably good experience so far in terms of item description accuracy but have been caught out by older items not being as generously sized (and general Toast sizing flakiness).

I will need to start selling at some point to clear wardrobe space for new aquisitions. I've already got unused Toast Circle tickets (took some pristine stuff in and nothing equivalent to swap for - so learnt my lesson there).

@Snowyowl78 I have the bright red Gabis which were sold a few years back but only for one season as I think they were probably too bright for a lot of people. I love mine, normally wear them with a white top of some sort.

@AFingerofFudge they are very bright! Too small for me though sadly.

I bought a pair of what was described as navy cord gabis two years ago. But when they arrived they were needle cord rather than jumbo cord, and tiny. I could barely get the size 12 past my knees. It looked legit toast branding and they still had tags, so I don’t know if they were samples or what.

They had some navy cord Gabis in one of the archive sales a while back @ilovecherries that were quite small for size. I wonder if it was from then? Aren't all the cord gabi trousers needlecord rather than jumbo cord?

Maybe from quite a few years ago @ilovecherries . I bought a blouse on eBay and the sizing was much smaller. Concluded sizing had changed. Resold it. I now only buy if I am sure it will fit and try to get measurements.

The navy cord ones I bought last year are quite a wide wale - they look maybe an 8, I think. So not a massive wide cord, but substantial. The ones that don’t fit look nearer a 14 wale I would say, so much much finer.

I visited Kilver Court today for the first time, it is a good thing it is a long way from my home or I would be there far too often! Lots of sale stock, all very well presented. Not too much in small sizes though. I bought a beautiful cornflower blue shirt/jacket - it was one size only so a bit big for me but i liked it so much I will try to get it tailored for a neater fit. I also bought a beige alpaca V neck slip over sweater, I don't recall seeing this online in the past. My dd will be receiving a chic plain navy collarless shirt that was a one off sample, and a great low price.
There were loads of denim dresses too on sale but I could not find one that was right for me (I don't like stiff fabric).

I bought one full price item, the Fair Isle Tank. beautiful muted colours.

There was a wonderful indigo blue knitted jumper with a boat neck, but I had spent enough so I left it on the rack. I think it is new season stock.

Well worth a trip if you are in Somerset or on the M4 heading anywhere...

@Gonegrey31 sounds like you got lots of lovely things at Kilver! Interested to hear about the cornflower blue jacket! There is a Toast live on now with new season stuff.

I just wanted to say hi and to let you know I've done a ridiculous thing. In my intention to not shop outside of sales (yes, I failed twice but I did send the things back!) it does mean I'd like to cut loose at the sales and that's hard on the old bank account, but also the purchases and returns are so full of angst with purchases coming out straight away even though delivery could take a week or more, and returns taking sometimes quite a long time... so I just took out a 25 month interest free credit card for the sole use of shopping at Toast. It'll be my own little klarna.

Has anyone tried the Organic Cotton Hemp Panel Trousers,? Thinking of getting them for my holiday.. I think size right down?

When is the new drop due? We are away for three weeks in our campervan in September and I have already set up our post keep service because theres usually a sale when we are away !! Postie had a good grumble last time that happened delivering all the parcels at once! 🤣

@Laska2Meryls are those the ones in their classic collection (ie always on sale and never in the sale rather than their seasonal stuff) If so, I have them and they are super flattering on me with my big stomach! They are quite thick so I haven't worn them in a while, but are really comfortable. I'm on holiday at the moment so can't look at them to give you more details

I think that they are this year but not this season , strangely I hadnt considered them previously but I do like the shape of the linen balloon trousers I have .. ( only the space check ones in stock now, the black sold out really fast)

Apparently they come up big .. I have ordered the 10 . I have 10 in Gabis and Alix so 🤞

@Mangoelassi - welcome to the thread.

I've seen the jacket in real life and it's a gorgeous vibrant colour. I didn't try on as I have a cobalt jacket from previous season - material same/very similar but longer style.

Someone else will need to give sizing information if they've tried it on (my cobalt jacket is not as oversized as some Toast pieces can be).

Vivid colour means I probably wear less than some other jackets - but it does cheer me up when I do.

@Stoic123 @Mangoelassi I missed this, I saw it in Kilver and it looked TINY, it was an extra small but I’d probably conclude that it’s true to size. Colour lovely.

Well I went to Toast Cambridge today. Tried on the denim skirt which has a ridiculously tiny waist. The shop was almost empty because they were sorting out everything for Friday when apparently it'll all be available! The shop assistant swore she had gabis downstairs but couldn't sell them to me - grrr, but she did say they're £115 which is good. They also have a lovely skirt in the same colours with an elasticated waist - hoorah! She gave me a copy of their new little mini catalogue which has the skirt but not the gabis in it. Will try to post pics later if I can, or perhaps tomorrow. the cord dress looks lovely too - comes in a light scone colour (very pale green I think?) and that beautiful blue

I like the new indigo Oxford shirt.. Those who have the current ones, does it come up big like the lys one did?
