@AmethystMoonShine its more of a yellow really! I wasn’t sure about it on the website but it was lovely in real life. Those fees are quite big, I bought a medium but the small also fitted, and I am not small!

This is the jacket, surprised I haven’t seen it before. Was sale rather than sample.

That is lovely @Snowyowl78 and it does look soft too. I imagine that will prove a useful purchase. The colour is really beautiful. I don’t recall that jacket either, maybe it was an early sale item that got snapped up quickly?

I haven't really looked at the new offerings as atm all I am wearing is Toast dhuggie nightgowns as dresses or as beach cover-up s or my old Toast linen U neck dresses or shorts and tees if I need to be somewhere more ' dressed'. Luckily I live in a holiday area so that fits the vibe.

And of course, theres all the sale stuff not really worn ( but thats only because of the heat)

But I have just had a little look. I do like the craft check linen dress and if it had the split neckline as in the garment dyed one does I'd probably order it.

Also the bold check dress .( And the kin dupe) . However I am determined not going to get tempted by anything other than tunic dresses as they dont really work with my non working life now.

However once it cools down and the new autumn collection is in ..

Yep me too @Laska2Meryls . It’s funny because I would like some new things but at the same time it’s pretty relaxing not having obsessions that I have to work out which to buy and sort out my finances to pay. But it’s only ok as a temporary measure - longing for the AW stock to arrive do I can begin planning/scheming 😊

well - apparently the big check Kin dress isn't cotton at all - a review says it's viscose or something. the denim dress which I picked up is cotton, and the 8 fits fine and the square neck is quite nice, but there's quite a lot of dress! I will try it on again when it isn't so roasting hot (it's def not a dress for this weather). I also love that embroidered dress but can't justify spending that much on one dress.

@Snowyowl78 - beautiful shade of blue. I think I have seen that jacket before. Lucky you!

Thats my main gripe with Kin.
I really loathe viscose.
Just tried on my Kin denim dress and its a keeper!
Im size 12, tall and got the size 8
Very heavy denim, lovely narrow square neck which stops it looking maternity or milk maidy.
Will be a lovely cooler summers day dress not a 32 degree one.😅
Also think it would look nice with a long sleeve top underneath for A/W
My toast order also arrived and also successful.
Denim shirt dress is perfect.
Size 10 is plenty roomy for me but not so loose as the denim coat dress, nicely fitted at the top.
Orange Poplin tank-lovely, already have in white
Chevron jumper- love this, the small is a perfect fit.
Its fairly thin but so glad I ordered this.
Colours are spot on and the turquoise really pops.
Very successful shopping day.

@TempleofZoom - me too about viscose. I only buy their cotton/linen things. You have had a VERY successful shopping day!

Nothing as exciting here, but I can report my new Toast tea towels are lovely .

@ScottishMouse did your trousers arrive? I’m doubting my choices now between the space check and the poplin trousers!!

that denim shirt dress is a good buy if anyone is pondering .
I know I will wear it in the autumn with trainers and then layer up with merino and winter boots.
Its roasting here and Im knitting a jumper in the dark with the curtains drawn .

They did @Snowyowl78 , and they have gone straight back in the parcel to send back. I found them too voluminous around the pleats. In a softer drapier fabric, they might be ok, but the poplin makes them stick out and look huge. Why are you doubting your choice?
I forgot that I had also put the coal easy tee in the order. That is perfect in an xs. I had previously tried the s and it was a bit big. I wish I liked the other colours it comes in because it will be very versatile. I’d love it in a proper white, not these odd whites that Toast are so fond of making t-shirts in that make me look ill.
I’m also going to send back the fan, as it is not that good quality (pieces chipping off), and quite bulky too.

@ScottishMouse ah, I think we’re on the same page then. Sorry they didn’t work out. I’m worried the space check trousers are also voluminous and make me look larger. I live in the toast easy tees, I have all of them almost, bar the blue and the white - all great!

The space check ones look a similar style to the poplin ones @Snowyowl78 , but I’ll bet they don’t look as big because they are linen. I know what you mean about voluminous trousers sometimes making you feel bigger, but I could never go back to my skinny jeans days!
I might pop to a store and see if the pebble east tee looks as bad against my pale skin as I suspect it will, that would be a very useful colour if it worked.

@ScottishMouse thats why I bought them, I just can’t wear things fitted on my waist anymore, was hunting for the elusive pair of trousers that feel comfortable from day to night (and lunch and dinner!). I haven’t tried the pebble, usually avoid whites, but I can recommend all the other colours!

The space check trousers are by far my favourite ever linen trousers... I also have the black linen ones in the same shape and they are also fab and both have a lovely drape ..I bought them in spring and have worn them loads..They do come up big though. I have XS and id be a 12 in most high st sizes , and sometimes a 14 ..

@Laska2Meryls ooh which are the black ones? Are they still around? yes I had to buy the Small which is silly as I am a 14

Have had a peak Toast day wearing my block print skirt from a few seasons ago on the beach in Walbersick. Lovely and voluminous in the hot weather/ breeze...
Did look at the John Lewis Kin sale and got a hoody which will be great for Autumn (even in XS it's baggy) was a total bargain at £18 and also a dress for a wedding from Phase eight ...linen and fitted with a nice print. My toast dresses are not really wedding attire 😎

Do the easy tees wash well and keep their shape @Snowyowl78 ? I usually wear the Emma half sleeve as I like that sleeve length but they’re a bit warm for this weather.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout yes! They wash great. I try to wash them on 30 usually

@applecatchers36 - those Kin sweatshirts are brilliant but they shrink like mad. Treat it like the finest cashmere when washing and hope for the best!

Oh, sadly they dont seem to be @Snowyowl78 .. I bought them a couple of months ago post sale,I think looks like they sold out really fast ... Keep an eye out though, they were new stock hopefully they will get more..
