Scottishmouse I have it. Bought full price ( I could not resist it). Saw it worn by a charming sales assistant in the Marlow shop ( which I highly recommend for the outstanding customer service there) as a day time / kimono type garment over a white T shirt and trousers. I LOVE mine...wear it in the house but might try it as styled by the sa.

@Gonegrey31 , I am quite tempted! Not sure I could get away with it as daywear as I am short, but I spend most evenings in a dressing gown, so it would get plenty of love indoors.

What is sizing like @Gonegrey31 ? My old Toast gown is a different style. Thinking of going for S as a high street 12, Toast 10. Or should I go bigger, I would hate a dressing gown to be too small?

I'm a size 8 usually in Toast (but I'm completely flat chested after a double mx). Mine is a small. I've just tried it on again for you, and it is not oversized on me, in fact it is quite a fitted style when you wrap it over. You might find a M is better if you want a roomy fit. The colours are gorgeous, a really rich blue.

So my final (I hope) sale order was waiting for me when I got home...

New gingham ruffle collar shirt, bought cheaper, knew I was keeping this.

The linen-cotton trousers in Moss DO fit which is a shocker... the 6 is a bit tight on the waist but I tried them on after having a huge lunch so think they're probably about perfect. Plus the colour so perfectly matches my glasses frames that they look extra pulled-together on. Drat.

And the ochre palm print pjs are the softest things ever, if anything can make me a pj person it'll be these. If not I'll learn an expensive (even in the sale) lesson about myself.

(I'd better hope I get that new job! 😂)

I reordered the Checked dress in an XS to see what it is like if it fits. I suspect still too long but at least it won't look like a tent (the S absolutely drowned me). Tbh I needed that as I have had sudden growth in the chest department (I'm late twenties and apparently that's a thing...) and very few of my clothes now fit over them.

All the things from my weekend orders are going back, apart from the room spray.
the montella smock dress is ridiculously big, and also too short.
The slate linen cotton trousers are too tight at the waist.
The montella collared tee is nice but the collar is kind of massive and sticks up a lot at the back. Maybe ok for someone with a longer neck than me.
The new denim dress is very big. I went for my usual Toast dress size but it was quite roomy. I won’t try a smaller one though as it was far too long on me as it is quite straight.
Off to the post office. I think this gives me licence to order the robe. Thanks @Gonegrey31 for the sizing info, M might indeed be better.

It's a shame when nothing hits the spot, but it's great that you now feel freed up to buy the robe!

I have it @ScottishMouse , in the medium and I am a similar size to you. The sizing is generous but it is relaxed as opposed to too big. I bought the PJs at the same time. I think it will look fab with a white teeshirt and jeans as well as worn as a dressing gown.

I'm trying to avoid placing any more orders as I know I've ordered the things I loved already...just scratching itches!
I've sent back the field and fleur nightie today as it was okay but not amazing and made my boobs look a strange shape which I think would have bothered me.
Also returned the plum circle soft top as the colour didn't look great with my skin tine, shame as I love the dark grey one.
Just waiting on the ochre gathered sleeve top that was reduced further to 40 pounds, just to see if I like the colour.

I tried that on in store. Very nice shape and weight... but colour is a bit.... brown 😀

Im giddy with ordering and returning sale stuff. Think I'm done. Taken a punt on one last order - tufted cross body bag, ANOTHER nightie and saffron seamless sweater which came back in stock in a medium after I returned large one...

Me too @NoCureForLove! I ordered the painted patchwork gown this afternoon but there was only a small left. I made my returns today at a Toast store and the sales assistant was wearing the linen cotton pinafore (not in the sale and £££), and she looked so good in it, so I threw that in my basket with the gown. Annoyingly, the gown has reappeared in a medium, and I’m now wondering whether to place yet another order for that. It is quite ridiculous how many sale things I have now ordered (and mostly returned)!

Same here, the turnover of parcels and payments and refunds is shocking! Often it’s ordering two sizes that’s causing it, but often just odd fitting issues like tight sleeves or something I can’t know until I try on.

Last punt in the sale spotted a Lofty Hazel jumper in my size that you all seem to love.. Have also ordered some cotton linen trousers in taupe that I hope might be good for work we will see

I'm holding out for this to be further reduced. Surely it must be as still in stock in all sizes??

Well this is utterly bonkers, but….
last night I reordered the dressing gown in a medium when that reappeared. Plus of course I added the new embroidered tie neck shirt. And this morning I had another quick scroll and noticed that the montella linen cotton knit top was back in my size, so I ordered that too as I’ve been wanting to try it.
That is surely the end of it! (Unless of course the black crinkle dress with the short sleeves and the check lining ever reappears in my size!)

I tried that on last year @ScottishMouse - it’s lovely and I’ve been considering it for a while. I guess I’m hesitant because I have the denim version, but it is really nice. I’m worried for your bank account 😉

I tried the denim version a while back @Saurus72 , but I found the fabric a bit heavy.
My bank account is only saved by the fact that I am very fussy about fit, so I only keep the really perfect things I order. So far I have only kept 3 sale items, which seems quite restrained. So far…

I have 2 denim and the cotton/ linen.
Its lovely and a bit lighter.
Very plain but a lovely, everyday dress and it has pockets
