Down to 50% some things now. I’ve bought the cotton gingham shirt to try which is now £65.

Saurus72 · 30/06/2022 13:44

i just bought these which I absolutely do not need but they are just so beautiful! Though for double espressos not tea 😉

is this the tunic of which you all speak?

of the new stuff I like the olive checked dress and the cardigan. But very £££££.

A few things have mine have reduced, so I have reordered!

Laska2Meryls · 30/06/2022 14:37

My Emma striped tee has reduced by 10 so I have taken a gamble, reordered and returned the other one.. it is one day over the 14 days but hopefully as I started the return process and downloaded the label earlier this week it will be accepted ..

Laska2Meryls · 30/06/2022 14:39

Tbh I cant see much that has been further reduced...

faustina · 30/06/2022 14:48

I quite like the tunic and the matching skirt! I also like the two new denim dresses. Have bought the two striped t-shirts (blue and orange) and the ecru jeans in the sale. I was on the hunt for a nice robe but everything is really short at Toast so have found a beautiful linen one at Net a Porter (for half the price)

neveradullmoment99 · 30/06/2022 15:20

dudsville · 30/06/2022 11:28

Does anyone have or has anyone seen irl the "indigo denim wide leg trousers"? I'm curious to try them, but I fear the denim is their usual super think stuff, is it?

I have them. Denimmis light and supersoft. Almost tencellish but not tencel.

Snowyowl78 · 30/06/2022 16:22

@Laska2Meryls i have reordered the Emma, the two gathered sleeve dry organic tees (one ochre one slate) and the collared navy tee, all reduced, will ‘save’ about £40

Stoic123 · 30/06/2022 17:29

Nothing much for me in the extra reductions but I have picked up another wheat bag set with oils as a present. I have been using mine daily since arrival.

Patch pocket indigo twill trousers are heading back (deeply unflattering on me) and I'm just waiting on some darted cord trousers to arrive.

Nothing, so far, from the new collection is appealing...but I've thought this before and things grow on me/ the styling videos persuade otherwise.

Laska2Meryls · 30/06/2022 17:44

I had hoped that the patchwork jacket would be further reduced, but it's something that I am not sure if it would work or not, and certainly not something that id pay £170 sale price for..

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 30/06/2022 17:58

Bit disappointed with the further reductions, I was hoping the ginkgo pyjamas would be a bit less. Although very tempted by some of the kitchen and ceramic bits, those cups are lovely @Saurus72 .

AFingerofFudge · 30/06/2022 18:08

I wonder whether or not they might do a "final reductions" ? Judging by the amount of stuff us lot are sending back then they might need too!

pamshortsbrokenbothherlegs · 30/06/2022 18:08

I re-ordered my gingham blouse with the ruffled collar, I might as well for an extra £15, esp as I won't be wearing it until autumn.

Since I was doing another order, I went ahead and threw in some linen-cotton trousers I had my eye on, though they might well be too small.

I also ordered my first pair of Toast pjs. I'm not normally a pjs person (husband's old t shirts, more like) but the ochre ones are beautiful and you all do seem to love their nightwear!

TheChattyRat · 30/06/2022 19:30

I received my sleeveless ‘dry’ top today (sorry can’t remember what it is actually called, the one that comes in a blue and a white version). Anyway am sending back as was a bit ‘meh’ on me.
I will most likely try the jersey / gingham dress despite your damning review @ScottishMouse !
I do wonder if it is likely to be reduced more as seems unpopular. I just love the red line at the hem.
I seem to recall they go down to 60% not sure if they go any lower?

Countmeout · 30/06/2022 19:36

I like the jersey/gingham dress too @TheChattyRat but it’s a bit dark even for winter.

Having said that thought this looked interesting from the new collection. Saw it on a Toast Live what’s coming next page.

Saurus72 · 30/06/2022 19:49

That looks nice @Countmeout - and it’s not brown! I’m pinning my hopes on there being some lovely things to come because the law of averages (ie, I’ve not liked anything this year so far) means it must be a fantastic A/W! Better start saving my pennies…

TerrierOrTerror · 30/06/2022 19:53

I am exchanging my one sale purchase for a smaller size, but I suspect it will still be too big as it was HUGE and not in a flattering way.

Laska2Meryls · 30/06/2022 19:56

Bloody hell, the new prices! Francis stripe tee , £80
Twigs and berries pjs 155 and nightdress 95..

Love them all but Shock .. Oh well it'll be next sale again for me , I reckon...

OP posts:
dudsville · 30/06/2022 20:40

That's @neveradullmoment99 , i did go ahead and pitcher then earlier, glad i did as they're now gone, and am pleased with your description!

I also, in the same purchase earlier, got that cotton shirt @Countmeout and am annoyed that is no longer in the sale as yours is about £25 cheaper than the one i ordered just a few hours before!

I agree shit the red green @TheChattyRat , it really makes that dress.

The woodbine i recieved in the post today is how about £30 cheaper, but remains unloved by me!

dudsville · 30/06/2022 20:42

I'm so sorry for the typos, the worst, "shit" ,is meant to say "about".😮

Countmeout · 30/06/2022 20:44

I would ask them for the reduction @dudsville . I did that a few years ago when I’d ordered a shirt and it was further reduced a couple of hours later.

I love Francis tops. They were about £70 before weren’t they?

ScottishMouse · 30/06/2022 20:49

Well, I’m now wondering if I love the gingham shirt at £65 more than I liked it at £80!
Still haven’t sent back one of the parcels from yesterday as I cannot decide if I want to keep the gingham shirt and/or the gingham dress. I’m thinking if I have tried them twice and they haven’t been hung up, then I should probably send them back.

dudsville · 30/06/2022 20:56

Really @Countmeout , how long did you leave it before you asked? I'm just thinking that if i don't like it there's no point, but if i don't get it for several days that might be too late? Maybe I'll email them. Thanks for the idea!

ScottishMouse · 30/06/2022 21:01

Right folks, I need your advice. Is the blue gingham dress (top left) nicer than these other dresses I own? Thinking of ebaying some/all of the other three as I hardly ever wear dresses, but would like to have one or two for dress occasions. Which to keep?
