I'd love it if headscarves came back, like the Queen wears. My late mum had beautiful ones. No bad hair days and so much more elegant than a hat

You?

Me too on headscarves. So practical. For me it would be ra ra skirts.

Matchingcollarandcuffs · 18/05/2022 18:00

Yes, puffball or rara skirts, never have my legs looked so thin (maybe as I was 5 stone lighter tbf)

HarimadSol · 18/05/2022 18:37

Simplicity.

I would love for my daughters to want to wear 90s block heeled kickers for school.

AgnesNaismith · 18/05/2022 18:53

Sex and the city style ballet skirts - if my hips could shrink at the same time they may actually look like they used to

orangeisthenewpuce · 18/05/2022 19:16

Can't remember what year it was but we were all wearing smock tops and jeans. It was so easy.

TomAllenWife · 18/05/2022 19:18

@Matchingcollarandcuffs Zara have puffball back in
I must admit I was tempted

MintyGreenDream · 18/05/2022 19:18

Neon and leopard print Blush

MintyGreenDream · 18/05/2022 19:19

But not at the same time!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 19:19

Flares. Sorry. But I really like a flared trouser (and a platform boot).

Darklane · 18/05/2022 19:20

Bonnets. The old ones like in Georgian & Victorian times. So practical & SO pretty.

Caramac555 · 18/05/2022 19:21

Hats. I have a narrow forehead and I suit hats. Big hats as daily wear. I also have a badger strip grey root problem, so again, hats would be the answer to this.

I'm willing to consider headscarves as a distant second choice

Shoulder pads.

boudicca79 · 18/05/2022 19:31

Massive Bridget Jones knickers Smile

Livebythecoast · 18/05/2022 19:32

Leg warmers and neon fingerless gloves - you gotta love the 80's 😂

myuterusistryingtokillme · 18/05/2022 19:34

Decent length tops, why the hell is everything so short

Qwill · 18/05/2022 19:35

Ballet flats. Got some in Italy and they are the softest most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Literally like having my feet in non-greasy butter! I’m not usually swayed by trends, as I just wear what suits, but even I know I look very dated when I wear them! Also under-eye eyeliner. Makes my eyes look sultry and big, but I know it’s very dated. 😞

Bbq1 · 18/05/2022 19:39

Boot cut jeans. I absolutely loved them but sadly they look so dated now. Also lower slung jeans/combats with a vest top and chunky boots or trainers. Very All Saints but I really liked the look. Another one for Rara skirts too - ultra flattering.

AmberLynn1536 · 18/05/2022 19:44

Yep low rise combats and jeans for me as well, I’ve been watching re runs of My Family and I love all the stuff Janey wears, oh and I would bring back short hair while I’m at it.

Yes! I was at school and we all made smock tops in needlework classes. My mum said they made us all look pregnant, which was disgusting as we were all 13! I'd say it was 1974 to 76.

LookdeepintotheParka · 18/05/2022 19:49

Platform shoes/boots with block heels - literally the only way I can manage in heels! I love feeling taller too 😁

BobbinThreadbare123 · 18/05/2022 19:50

I wear flares - always black, huge stomping great boots with them
I've returned to the combat pants too - not quite as low waisted as I wore 20 years ago though!
I want more teeny weeny backpacks

Changechangychange · 18/05/2022 19:50

90s Betty Boo style Mary Janes and ankle boots. Round toes! So comfortable. Can’t wear modern pointy-toed shoes at all.
