I'm so sorry. It was never my intention to be slothphobic. I will report for reeducation immediately.

Good. You can also make a donation here to salve your evil conscience:

This thread has kept me entertained I must say. I just wanted to blow @HailAdrian's mind by sharing something. My DD has a teacher (actually her favourite teacher) who is trans and .... hold on to your hats .... wears Boden!!! I realise this is going to be a lot to process and you may need some time to get to get your head around this, because she has also been known, on occasion to wear pearls. I must ask DD when she comes home from school whether she has ever seen her clutching them, therefore, I'm assuming, making her a traitor.

Btw Adrian, I must ask you to dial down the "Bodenphobia"😁

Awwwwwwwwwwwww Grin

But also ARGH. Because I want to know why '460 dogs sterilized' is a positive thing for sloth conservation but I don't have time. It will haunt me.

And yet Grayson Perry is a national treasure.

He's many, many things and not all of which I like, but the one thing that Grayson Perry is not is sexualised.

bellinisurge · 13/05/2022 14:25

"My DD has a teacher (actually her favourite teacher) who is trans and .... hold on to your hats .... wears Boden!!! "

Guessing your DD's teacher doesn't dress up like a toddler and talk about how she's queer. Guessing she just gets on and does her job. In that case, fill your (uncomfortable high-heeled) boots.

JaneJeffer · 13/05/2022 14:25

I once got deleted for saying a certain dead disgusting DJ had put me off wacky dressers for life on a thread about GP.

HailAdrian · 13/05/2022 14:25

The only one being transphobic is you. You are making a fool of yourself. On some level you must know that. So stop digging.

There is probably a word for this. Like I say, mumsnet has a reputation for being transphobic which I suspect you already know. Attempting to belittle and patronise people for saying something different to what you are saying is not a good look. Accusing a company of paedophilia because of this photo is absolutely outrageous. Again though, I think you know this.

bellinisurge · 13/05/2022 14:27

@Notoriously transphobic" actually means "notoriously unwelcoming of kink based on children" on this thread. Sign me up

Lots of adults like unicorn shit. Literally nothing new there.

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/04/23/grayson-perry-my-greatest-sort-of-sex-dream-was-to-be-a-housewif/

'One of Britain’s most famous transvestites, Perry is not gay, nor is he transgender.

Instead, he admits that the act of dressing as a woman is bound up in his interest in eroticism, fetish sex and sadomasochism.'

*A bloke in drag dressed as a little girl surrounded by childrens toys

that’s not going to sell me tights*

Yep. Anyone claiming it's just a cute picture of a happy bloke in a dress with kids toys is being disingenuous.

Creepy and grim.

Agree 100%. Creepy and grim

HailAdrian · 13/05/2022 14:32

I mean, there is absolutely no denying that you are attempting to belittle and patronise, is there? Fortunately, you are strangers on the internet and ultimately, it doesn't really matter.

Pennox · 13/05/2022 14:33

Just coming on to agree with the majority. Not a pearl clutcher, don't buy tights, but as anyone that spends much time online can easily see, this is celebrating very specific fetishes (AGP, brownies, adult babies) that is, whether it likes it or not, associated with men pretending to be babies and toddlers. Not saying all of them are peados but there's a distinct crossover (see Any Green Party' father and husband).

Either way I also reject the attempts to normalise it.

Pennox · 13/05/2022 14:34

Bronies not brownies, spell check keep trying to change it to brownies, worryingly!

ReadyToMoveIt · 13/05/2022 14:34

HailAdrian · 13/05/2022 14:30

But of course ‘liking unicorn shit’ is completely different to adults dressing in a way that makes them look like a fetishised idea of a toddler.

HailAdrian · 13/05/2022 13:54

The image was chosen because it's a guy and OP knew it would provoke a certain response as mumsnet is notoriously transphobic. It's a joke that people here like to pretend they're on the same wavelength as women like J K Rowling when the truth is, they simply can't cope with the sight of a man in a dress. Or anyone else who is different to them really

there are many different women who use mumsnet , and from all walks of life , we arent all middle class mummies adrian , some of us are poor working class ones struggling to hold our heads above water and who couldnt give a shit about a bloke wearing a fucking dress even if we do agree with jk rowling , i happen to be one of them , stop generalising so much

DomesticatedZombie · 13/05/2022 14:36

I think it's interesting that calling a woman middle aged is supposed to be some kind of insult, anyway.

I know. It’s an weird. I’m a woman. I’m probably classed as middle aged. I didn’t realise that was a bad thing?
