See, I think this dress, with the bight styling (hat, shoes, hair) could look amazing on an older woman. Really elegant, unusual, classy and original. I’d love to see more women over 50 wearing clothes like this than ‘neat’ Phase 8 and the like.

As I said, each to their own, but some of the dresses on here (including the one the OP first posted) are just awful. (IMO.) I can't imagine anyone wearing them in real life.

It's an amazing dress but I think it looks like you are wanting the attention. I think the suggestions about 'similar but shorter' are spot on.

The dress @PinkSyCo posed about is lovely IMO (each to their own.) But the colour (battleship grey) is vile.

I agree about the colour but there are 55 other colours to chose from so……
