Before you all say don’t be ridiculous, you’ll look like the bride- there is no bride- it’s a gay wedding. I love this. lOVE it. Could get the floral one but of COURSE I want the cream one. Can I???????

LOVE it! Even if there was a bride I would of got it in red or pink as I think it's stunning and wedding worthy. F* the haters! Glad you got the floral one. Hope it's as good as it looks online

It’s 2022. Wear whatever you want. Check with them if you’re worried

Iheartmysmart · 11/02/2022 21:33

I bloody love it and think it’ll look absolutely amazing - especially with a pair of pastel DMs.

PaperMonster · 11/02/2022 21:33

The floral one’s gorgeous.

NoneOfYour32Potatoes · 11/02/2022 21:33

and I do think it's taking Argentinian from the grooms

What does this mean? Confused

Plumface · 11/02/2022 21:34

It's a gorgeous dress. You'll only be the mother of the groom once so wear a dress you could only wear on that day. Do it OP.

1309usernameu · 11/02/2022 21:34

Oops. Didn’t work

Mother of the groom- can I wear this???

Personally I would ask your do what he thinks! You love it and he may love it too and that’s all that is important!

LuluBlakey1 · 11/02/2022 21:38

Like a horrible frilly fussy nylon bedspread.

SockFluffInTheBath · 11/02/2022 21:39

I actually love it, I hope I get to wear something like that to my own gay son’s wedding Grin

Plumface · 11/02/2022 21:40

... but enough about you ...

Plumface · 11/02/2022 21:41

Eek that was to @LuluBlakey1

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 11/02/2022 21:41

I think the floral one would be fine! Or maybe one of the other plain colours, although I also think the floral is by far the nicest - it somehow works better than the plain colours.

I would only wear it if you’re very confident with “stand out” outfits though

Looley · 11/02/2022 21:41

Sorry - see you’ve ended the discussion ! And you’re a size 16 - well you sound like you’re going to be happy in the dress you love it and feel a million dollars in it , and that’s what counts! I hope you enjoy the day and the dress. I want one now !! 😊

KevinTheKoala · 11/02/2022 21:41

I actually think the pale blue or pale pink are gorgeous, it is a beautiful dress but definitely ask what they think first. If they are OK with it then go for it.

giveyou2reasons · 11/02/2022 21:44

I hope you love the dress when it arrives and that you have a great time wearing it. Who cares what anyone else thinks, if you and your son like it? You'll never please everyone, so might as well please yourself (and the people who matter most to you)!

SeenYourArse · 11/02/2022 21:47

Yes in pink or the blue both are absolutely gorgeous I’m 36 and I’d wear either! Absolutely no to the cream one sorry

Benjispruce5 · 11/02/2022 21:50

Absolutely not!

RussianSpy101 · 11/02/2022 21:51

@Plumface 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hesma · 11/02/2022 21:52

Ask them. Personally I really dislike them but that my style. I’d ask the grooms for their opinion and if you do opt for the cream one be prepared that you may get snide remarks because some people are bound to criticise. Either way, have a great day!

Oh my god.

She asked her son.

She ordered the dress.

‘Ask him’. What a searing insight that is, 13 pages into the thread. Grin
