I cut off. I think the colour is the issue. Just not cream or white. Any of the other colours. Those dresses are very pretty. Just not white or black at a wedding.

I don't think you should have them holding you up. It'll pull focus and nobody likes a man who upstages another guest using weaponised clothing.

My cat Colin has a little matching tulle waistcoat and fedora and i am going to walk him in on a diamanté studded collar and lead, bearing the rings for the grooms. I hope the elephants don’t trample him

Fwiw I wore a needle and thread dress to my dd's wedding ... it was quite a lot really but then I'm a bit 'extra' at the best of times.

I was 49 and quite fat ( size 18 ) and thought fuck it, I don't want to wear a horrible shift dress with a matching jacket 🤷‍♀️.

I sold the dress on eBay afterward as I'd never have cause to wear it again, my dd loved it - the attached pic is me and son in law. Enjoy your sons wedding Op 😊
