I ordered the denim shirt dress [ It came back in stock] and they have also sent me a gift. Hopefully my parcel should arrive tomorrow!

neveradullmoment99 · 18/02/2022 15:05
@Gonegrey31 - how exciting! Please come back and tell us what it is when it's arrived! I placed an order a couple of days ago and it never mentioned a gift, but they sent me something at Christmas so perhaps that's why.

@couldhavegonethen - smart move. You won't be left wondering that way. It's a beautiful colour!
They sent me the paper baubles at Christmas!

neveradullmoment99 · 18/02/2022 15:06

Still its probably something that it quite rubbish!

neveradullmoment99 · 18/02/2022 15:07

Although i did love the baubles. I also got the wrapping things and they were ok. Once I got a silly bag scarf thing and I had no idea what to do with it.

ScottishMouse · 18/02/2022 15:08

I didn’t get a gift with my order that arrived yesterday. Just a mislabelled pair of trousers ☹️
@Gonegrey31, that shirt is amazing. I have the blue and have been stalking the website for a few days to see if I can get hold of the pecan in a size 8. No luck so far.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/02/2022 15:08

It was like a cloth wrapping thing for your lunch mmm...

neveradullmoment99 · 18/02/2022 15:09

Was also tempted by the bandanna's but they are OOS already. Both designs.

ScottishMouse · 18/02/2022 15:17

@neveradullmoment99, I got one of those bag scarf things before, and I use it all the time in summer as a bag. I love it!

faustina · 18/02/2022 15:25

Yes I got the baubles too - and one of those bags last year which I gave to ds2's dp - It think she liked it!

Snowyowl78 · 18/02/2022 15:57

Seems to be some new stuff today. I like this cardigan a lot, but the price is a bit scary.

I like this .. looks a bit short though, sadly .. I do wish they'd stop doing that..

neveradullmoment99 · 18/02/2022 16:22

It was on the Toast live session. It looked generous and not particularly short. They have a cardigan in the same colour block. On the live session, the jumper was on a hanger but the cardigan was on a model. It looked nice but not my style tbh.

If that was in blues, I’d be forced to have it.

@ilovecherries This is the first year that I am really not taken with the colours from Toast. They are largely Autumn. I do like ochre, reds and even neutrals but not brown. I really am not drawn to it.

Laska2Meryls · 18/02/2022 17:08

I have this similar one that someone is selling for crazy price on ebay, Cherries.. not worth what she is selling it for , but if you keep and eye out ... I paid around £55 in the sale for mine

Laska2Meryls · 18/02/2022 17:10

... also its about 3 winter's ago stock!

Laska2Meryls · 18/02/2022 17:19

The new jumper I linked above strongly reminded me of r the blue one I have already ..

I agree about the Autumnal colours Neveradullmoment.. I wonder if its because of shipping delays..

Also Toast seem to be going for a collection which no longer really references seasons..and a 'slow fashion' approach ( given that they are still selling a lot of last years stuff and dont seem to be discounting end of season lines so much in the sales) ..

There are several pieces there (like the linen column dress we both have for example) which seem too have become part of a core collection.. Of course this could just be because of recent pipeline and sourcing issues

neveradullmoment99 · 18/02/2022 17:56

It is really quite annoying how they are 'drip feeding' the stock. I really like to see what there is for this season all at the one time.
Oh and I really miss John Lewis selling Toast. It was so easy to order click and collect and return. Such a shame. Sadly too, the Kin range has also taken a bit of a nose dive. There is nothing that I see on there either! The prints are a bit too colourful for me or big. That is also annoying me!

Saurus72 · 18/02/2022 18:49

@neveradullmoment99 Completely agree about the colour palette - but there’s also very little on my list to try. Very hopeful for the next stock they mentioned that coming in March. All I want is 2-3 dresses and maybe a skirt or too.

AFingerofFudge · 18/02/2022 18:57

There also appears to be a new fairisle jumper unless I've missed it earlier in the season?
