I hope there are others with cult beauty advent who are interested in daily chat about the goodies! It's the first year I have not opened a single door ahead of time

Bit of boring day today but it will get used so I'm not too disappointed, especially when there has been so few DOD for me.

pullshapes · 21/12/2021 19:56

I agree @Stokey it would have been nice to have had something different.

I tried yesterday's overnight and that seems to have made my spots look a bit less red. I might stick with it, although it smells awful.

TooWicked · 21/12/2021 19:59

I've given today's cleanser to DS as he ran out of facewash this morning.

Stokey · 22/12/2021 09:20

Another day that is OK but not that exciting - the Algenist Genius collagen calming relief cream. I will use it but again feel we've already had similar.

TooWicked · 22/12/2021 09:39

I’m very happy with this.

I’ve had this previously in a GWP and liked it a lot, I just never got round to buying more as I have so many products to get through! I used it when I had a particularly bad hormonal breakout on my chin and it really calmed and soothed my skin.

Giftwithpurchase · 22/12/2021 12:44

I love the Algenist cream - is a HG for me and one of the reasons I went for CB. I've been through several tubes. Wear it as a day cream. It's not particularly heavy I don't think. Once I found it in TK Maxx for £14.99. Bought all they had!

MrsMcCluskeysChristmasTree · 22/12/2021 13:25

I have dry skin that can feel really sensitive and painful sometimes so I am looking forward to trying this when it is going through a particularly irritated stage.

afaloren · 22/12/2021 14:33

Would this be good for DH, who suffers with rosacea and occasional acne flare-ups, does anyone know?

It's always good to get review of someone who have used the product. I was interested in trying it but even more so now.

When I read the name of todays I was expecting really orangey shade but it's actually gorgeous! Very happy with it

I have this in another colour and it's absolutely gorgeous and so easy to apply so I am looking forward to trying this one out.

pullshapes · 23/12/2021 09:24

I'm pretty happy with today's. I like Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows a lot and the shade is lovely.

I tried the Roen palate this morning, and I'm now massively overdone for a trip to the playground with ds Blush. It's a lovely texture and goes on so nicely, just brighter than I'd expected.

CousinGregg · 23/12/2021 09:43

I opened it all the day I got it and am IN LOVE with the Algenist cream. Really soothes and hydrates without being a greasy milia making mess.

TinyTroubleMaker · 23/12/2021 15:14

This is lovely, so flattering

Giftwithpurchase · 23/12/2021 19:58

@afaloren I would say it would be good as it's aimed at sensitive inflamed skin. It's very calming. Having said that my skin is very normal & doesn't tend to breakout etc so I haven't tested it on inflammation myself. Maybe just try a little at first to see if it soothes.

Giftwithpurchase · 23/12/2021 20:00

@pullshapes love to think of you rocking the Roen glitters in the playground. Might do the same thing myself as it's the only place I ever go 😆

afaloren · 23/12/2021 20:37

Thank you @Giftwithpurchase we will try it out!

Loved today’s eye pot. Gorgeous flattering colour.

TinyTroubleMaker · 24/12/2021 04:22

Love today's drawer. This AC really is fab this year!

Stokey · 24/12/2021 08:19

Wow, 24 has some really big names in. I haven't tried any of this products but love Medik-8 retinol so keen to try the vit C cream. Drunk Elephant I've had mixed results with - like the Protini cream, not keen on their mini facial - but will be god to try this. Also looking forward to the Espa bath crystals. Great job Cult Beauty 👏 👍

Puppermint · 24/12/2021 10:01

I'm not a bath person so the salts will be regifted but everything else is fab today. I've also opened tomorrow's too as DS was nagging me (he's very excited for some reason) and am also pleased with that drawer. I'll keep it secret though for those with more willpower than me!

TooWicked · 24/12/2021 16:21

I’ve been dying to get to the Espa bath crystals day! Hurray! They smell amazing and I do enjoy a nice bath.

Looking forward to trying the night serum too.

clary · 24/12/2021 19:23

I have had this Medik8 product before and really loved it so this is exciting. The calendar has been really really good IMO, well well worth the money and also such a treat to open every day. Really a luxe item.

MrsMcCluskeysChristmasTree · 24/12/2021 19:30

Another fab day, I have been so impressed with it and really hope it doesn't go down hill next year now they are part of The Hut Group.

We have nipped to the pub for a couple and I've put one of the Roen eye shadows on, I am looking suitably sparkly and festive.

MiaN · 24/12/2021 20:17

I also opened today and tomorrow. It was awesome advent, the best I had and I also hope it doesn't go downhill

Really not loving the scent of the candle! Loads on eBay too so don't think I'm the only one!
Been great fun opening it tho. Will def get it next year if it's half as good 👍
