I'm happy with yesterday's lipstick, it's a very neutral shade on me, and nice for understated make up days. It also feels lovely on, not drying at all. I haven't got any other VB makeup but would definitely buy more now.

Today's toner also looks good. I never used to see the point of it either but the Pixi glow tonic changed my mind. I'll be trying it out later.

I tried the VB lipstick and it’s lovely - creamy and moisturizing and quite a good subtle colour on me (MAC NC20 skin tone). Will definitely try some more bits from the range.

I have high hopes for today’s as I’ve had a couple of things from Herbivore which were good.

I tried the lippie without pencil under and I agree it is not great shade for me - I would be NW35 in MAC. It works with the VB lip pencil all over my lips as lipstick topper but bit disappointed they didn't choose shade that would suit more skin tones.

I've previously had a sample of the Farmacy cleanser and it's lovely. Nice to have a decent sized version.

Yes I'm excited about this one. Have heard great things about Farmacy and can always use a good balm cleanser. QQ I tried to use the toner last night and my bottle is all bumpy and squashed. The contents looked a bit weird as a result. I take it this isn't how it's meant to be? Would post a pic but DH is still asleep.

the bottle of the toner is bumpy, and the consistency more like serum or hyaluronic acid product. It's gel like, not liquid

Nothing for me today as this was a draw I got DH to raid as I needed cleanser last month Grin. I love the smell of it but for winter I don't think it's quite hydrating enough for my skin so I've popped it away and gone back to my Elemis cleanser for now but will get it out and use it in spring time.

I love both the toner and the cleanser. I love toners, not sure if they actually do anything but I just enjoy the step of applying them and this one smells divine. Love the bottle too.

Cleansing balm is always a win with me. We’re well on our way to a whole skincare routine Grin

I was out at an event all day yesterday late into last night and wore the VB lipstick, it’s such a pleasure to reapply, everything about it is luxurious.

I’m looking forward to opening yesterday’s toner and I’m a sucker for a cleansing balm so very happy today to have a brand I haven’t yet tried.

I slept in my make-up last night so some new skincare stuff today is just the ticket.

Not so keen on today's offering, I tested a little on the back of my hand and although it looks lovely and glowy, it doesn't dry down and feels a bit heavy and greasy. Think it will be lovely on drier skins, but I am oily so it will look like a greasy sweaty mess on my face. Might see if I can get any use out of it as a body highlighter, otherwise will pass it on.

I have bottle of estee lauder double wear which I used to love but feels bit heavy and dry on my skin lately. I mixed a drop of today's with it and LOVE! I will see how it wears through the day. They suggest it's serum like and it can be used face - under, over makeup or as highlight and body as well. I will report back how it is mixed in with foundation but love the look so far

That's what I like about advents, not liking when I see it, trying and loving it. I would never buy product like this myself, it's nice to get good surprise.

I remember being intrigued by this when researching the calendar, like you Mia it's not something I would normally purchase but I've tried it on the back of my hand and it looks lovely so I'm interested to try it with make up! I'm going to do a little test and try it under, over and mixed with to see what gives the nicest result.

I too mixed today's with my foundation this morning but not sure I got the ratios right as I'm looking very shiny! Dewy bordering on sweaty, I think. I did top it off with some Hourglass powder too though so not sure I needed the extra step. Still I'm looking VERY glam for my day of Teams calls while WFH Grin

I shook the bottle to get this out so ended up slathering far too much on my face over (light) foundation. It does feel quite oily and a little goes a long way. I'd try again but with far less!

I'm not sure about today's, but I'll give it a try. I don't wear foundation usually, so will see if it works on its own.

I definitely agree with you Mia that this is what advents are good for as I would never have bought something like this myself but it might be good to try.

I noticed on the box that it said face and body. I find it a little bit too oily on my face but think it would be nice on the body.

I’m another who would never buy this but I actually really like it. I assumed it should be used as a highlighter so I patted it on to my cheekbones a few hours after doing my makeup. It gives a lovely glow. It’s quite moisturizing and leaves your skin glowy, which I like in winter but it probably wouldn’t look great in summer or if you have oily skin. Mine is on the dry / dehydrated side though. I might try mixing it with moisturiser tomorrow.

I don’t wear foundation at the moment what with having to put masks on and off all day. Otherwise I would try mixing it in with foundation. It would probably look nice using a fab as a brow highlighter.

@DoctorMarten Yes I saw that too, I think it would look quite nice on the shoulders and décolletage in summer (which it is here). However I'm terrible for remembering to use such products so let's hope I remember to try it!

Todays looks quite nice but such a small pot!! Disappointed with the size but will give it a go. Is it mega expensive or something??
