As on the previous thread, please critique the outfit rather than criticise the woman and keep Megxit talk for the many many threads already dedicated to that!

I love the leopard print skirt outfit. Not sure about the coat. It appears that I have an aversion to anything double breasted.

AppleKatie · 22/01/2020 12:09

I don’t love the colours as much today. Not as cheerful as yesterday’s.

MilleniumHallsWalledGarden · 22/01/2020 12:13

Thanks Queen

Survey done 😇 (was very quick to do)

Like the outfit, especially the length. She reminds me of a teacher I had in primary school who often wore skirts of that length. She drove a convertible MG and I thought she was v glam!

DobbyTheHouseElk · 22/01/2020 12:16

Shiny new thread. Thanks Queen.

frugalkitty · 22/01/2020 12:24

Thanks for the new thread Queen

I'm not too keen on the coat today but I do like the skirt/jumper combo. She looks modern and not mother of the bridey.

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 22/01/2020 12:28

Has anyone bought anything from Massimo Dutti? I am really tempted by something on their website but have read terrible reviews regarding their customer service.

Inniu · 22/01/2020 12:34

I buy items in Massimo Dutti a lot. It is a standing joke with my teenage daughter because I had so many v neck sweaters from there at one stage.

Never needed to use customer service though.

SpokeTooSoon · 22/01/2020 12:38

Outfit good, coat bad. I’m really not keen on camel coats.

Gosh though, when she turns sideways she practically disappears!

pinkytheunicorn · 22/01/2020 12:48

Lovely new thread! Thank you.

I've competed the survey. Very quick. I think it's a fantastic initiative.

AudacityOfHope · 22/01/2020 12:49

The coats a bit long for my taste but the outfit underneath is 💯

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 12:52

Prince Charles has arrived in Davos in an electric car.
He is going to meet Greta Thunberg after his speech

Charles in a fully electric Jaguar

Yet to do the survey.

Love a camel coat but Kate does look a bit weary these days. Suppose there is so much going on...

evilharpy · 22/01/2020 12:57

Love Kate's whole outfit including the coat. I'd wear all of that myself if I hadn't put on about a stone over Christmas.

MrsDoubtTried · 22/01/2020 13:06

Love the coat.

queenofarles · 22/01/2020 13:07

Omg! I love everything Kate’s wearing! Specially the coat. Fabulous look

I buy few things from MD, they do really good joggers that you can mix with more tailored separates.

My friend buys almost all of her clothes from MD and she always looks chic.

Can someone link the survey please?

StCharlotte · 22/01/2020 13:26

Loving Kate's look today except the heels.

Thanks for the new thread Queen.

measles64 · 22/01/2020 13:34

Charles in the electric car did he drive it from Highgrove, if not expect Greta will not be overly impressed.

It is amusing to see Kate`s skirt out of stock in all sizes. To be honest unless you are an xs or s you will look a bugger in it. What is it with people flocking to copy Kate when her body shape height is so different from many.

The coat was not well fitted I am surprised it was not tweaked for her.

Balloondog · 22/01/2020 13:44

Thanks @QueenOfTheAndals for the new thread. Checking in early to this one as the last moved so fast I didn't have time to read and comment!

I absolutely love DoC's outfit today. It's exactly the kind of thing I would have worn when I was younger and two stones lighter! I think she looks professional, stylish and comfortable. I also like her hair today, it really suits her with a little more body and lift at the crown.

StarShapedWindow · 22/01/2020 13:58

The skirt would look nice on most people if worn with a fitted black jumper to the mid thigh. That way the pleats will hang well and the bulkier parts of the body would be hidden by the jumper. I haven’t got this skirt btw - just think it could be worn in most sizes.

Some more pics of Kate today

Agree it's a win on the outfit it's appropriate for the event and actually looks the right age for Kate. I'm another not keen on camel coats in general.

Does anyone recognise Kate's necklace?

AudacityOfHope · 22/01/2020 14:28

I'm much curvier than Kate and that's an outfit I'd wear - and do wear, often.

Thanks for saying I look a bugger in in though. I disagree obviously! I've had this conversation before on this thread, that I don't believe the most important function of clothes should be to make us look smaller than we are. They should be fun and comfortable and make us happy too.

MotherofPearl · 22/01/2020 14:37

I'm going to be a dissenting voice I'm afraid. I'm not keen on animal print at all so don't like that skirt, and think the whole outfit looks a little cheap - though I'm sure it's not. I agree with the pp who said the coat doesn't fit her well.

Thanks for the new thread Queen.
