As on the previous thread, please critique the outfit rather than criticise the woman and keep Megxit talk for the many many threads already dedicated to that!

I thought she was out and about today too but I must've got that wrong.

I also thought she was out and about today. I did think the 24 hour tour was a bit silly. I mean, there's only so much you can do in 24 hours. A week long tour, taking in at least 6 or 7 places would have made far more sense.

WineOrGinOrBoth · 23/01/2020 15:36

Valid point Bling I hadn’t thought of that.

SpokeTooSoon
I didn't loke the colour of the outfit at Archie's christening.
I loved the ombre blue outfit she wore recently in Pakistan and the Windsor blue outfit too.
I thought she looked stunning in both.

I think someone on these threads has said William has come out and said he'd look at a new model for royal patronage etc.

That was me (may well have been others too). My understanding is William would rather an approach more like Kate is doing at the moment highlighting an issue and using the royal connection to pull multiple charities and resources together to find a resolution. He isn't keen on being a name on a piece of paper attending functions and openings. That's my understanding anyway like 4th-5th hand so I might be completely wrong.

week long tour, taking in at least 6 or 7 places would have made far more sense.

And 6 or 7 outfits! Will she not think of the thread! Apparently there was a 4th engagement yesterday at a school breakfast club but there has been no pictures around it so I'm wondering if the press made that one up🤷🏻‍♀️

Sophie has always been busy, she and Edward do a lot of travelling for the Queen and she supports some amazing causes. It would be great to see her and her work, get more publicity. She is my favourite royal.

TheNavigator · 23/01/2020 18:36

I loved Kate's outfit apart from the boots - they are too high and pointy for my taste and look uncomfortable, which for me spoils an otherwise lovely look. I don't like the look of really high heels in general and I also think they are starting to look quite dated.

Max has such warmth and panache. Here she is in Davos. I like the blouse and I think she's wearing a green Meghanesque leather skirt with it. Not wild about the coat though.

I was just looking at a picture of H&M's wedding that was on my Pinterest feed and it made me wonder about Meghan's veil. It was so beautiful, a work of art, with all the symbols for the commonwealth countries but I I wonder where it is now and how she feels about it. Mine is in a wardrobe at my mum's house I think (my dress is in DH's wardrobe as mine isn't a full length one).

QueenOfTheAndals · 23/01/2020 20:32

Even Max's boots are green. I admire her commitment to colour blocking!

Loving Max’s green blouse and green boots. Agree that the coat is somewhat random. I actually don’t mind the pattern/colours, but the cut is wrong. It’s too shapeless.

paradyning · 23/01/2020 21:09

I think she carries the coat off though. Not the boots though. Even she can't get away with those.

MotherofPearl · 23/01/2020 21:14

Here you can just make out the top of the skirt from the back.

I agree about the boots!

It’s like Max said “Ah Davos, let's pack my most mad coats”

MotherofPearl · 23/01/2020 21:34

Sophie's second day in Sierra Leone. I like the navy blouse but I'm not keen on those trousers I'm afraid. Somehow I think that fabric would have been okay as a long skirt. Those raised sandals look practical given how dusty it looks.

I love the photo of her in the circle of school children - she looks so relaxed and happy.

platform sandals - what are raised sandals Confused

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 23/01/2020 22:22

@frugalkitty is Meghan’s dress not still on display? Given that Charles paid for the entire wedding it may be hanging up in his wardrobe!

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/01/2020 05:57

Oh god, now I've got visions of Charles swanning around Highgrove and tending to his plants while wearing Meghan's wedding dress!

Oh dear... I like Max's boots. I must have shit taste Grin

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 24/01/2020 07:15

I thought Royal wedding dresses were on display at Hollywood house in Edinburgh...

I love Max's outfit - the boots, the coat, the oversized scarf.
Is she very tall ?

thisenglishlife · 24/01/2020 07:57

She's 5'10" or so

Chewbecca · 24/01/2020 08:17

I'm what House of Colour call a 'deep summer' which means cool, dark, muted are my best colours - like these. I love DoC in the same.
