As on the previous thread, please critique the outfit rather than criticise the woman and keep Megxit talk for the many many threads already dedicated to that!

Kate looked good today.
Her hair is bigger than her body.
The coat was great, do we know where it is from?

No, not even the Duchess Kate blog has been able to find it.

I know it is said over and over but...her legs! She clearly never misses thigh day at the gym! I'd wear skinnies like that too if I had the pegs to show.

beanaseireann · 29/01/2020 19:36

I love that light colour on Sophie. She looks great. She has been busy - wasn't she in Africa last week and somewhere else the week before.

Isnt Kate such a great asset to William and the Royals I'd be gutted if he was messing around.. I loved the flippy skirt with the lace underskirt or hem.
I thought the blue coat "drained" her a bit.
She appears to be very in tune with the children she meets.

itswinetime · 29/01/2020 20:24

A few people on Twitter are saying Kate's coat is this one from jigsaw it looks a good colour mix but Kate's is longer and I don't think jigsaw do custom so unless it's a preview of the next season I don't think they have cracked it yet.

jigsaw

mathanxiety · 29/01/2020 20:32

Love KM's high neckline jumper/blouse.

Not keen on that coat colour. I always think it looks a bit harsh. Would be nicer in a deep burgundy or dark green, or even a saffron or camel.

gingercat02 · 29/01/2020 20:56

I'm an Autumn and a huge fan of teal/peacock/petrol shades so I love Kate's coat. I'm hoping its high street even though I may have coats in that colour already

FiveTwoFaster · 29/01/2020 21:19

Kate knows the jigsaw owners doesn’t she so perhaps she begged them for a tweaked coat!

Tinkhasflown · 29/01/2020 21:23

I honestly don't think her coat is anything like that jigsaw one!

itswinetime · 29/01/2020 21:49

I'm not convinced by the jigsaw one either but it's the only one I have seen suggested so far

BigGreenOlives · 29/01/2020 22:34

The lapels are wider on the Jigsaw coat & it’s a lot shorter.

CanIHaveATiaraPlease · 29/01/2020 22:54

Yes - Lots going on this week with the royals. Trying to detract from Andrew? I know things are in the diary months before but I’m not sure. Or is it just they are being reported on more? I don’t know what to think basically.

Llareggub · 29/01/2020 23:04

Kate is going to be in my home town next week, visiting the RNLI. I hope she is prepared for very frizzy hair, mine never behaves here! I might pop down to see if I can spot her.

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 30/01/2020 06:40

I don't think Kate's coat is the jigsaw one as her's is double breasted.

Wetdogloveshubert · 30/01/2020 07:19

This is some more bling in the absence of much fashion this morning. This week has been top for casual so far, but we need tiaras...

This is the French Crown Sapphire Parure link which was part of this beautiful set until they were split at two auctions, with the tiara altered using sapphires from the necklace.

That is beautiful Wetdog.

MotherofPearl · 30/01/2020 08:12

Another great outfit from Camilla - I love the skirt - ruined by those wretched black boots of hers.

MotherofPearl · 30/01/2020 08:15

And while I'm in the critical zone, I'm not loving what I can see of CPM's blouse either. What is it with royal women and those fussy frilly collars atm?

Wetdogloveshubert · 30/01/2020 08:18

The bottom of Camilla's skirt just reminds me of fussy 80s curtains, @MotherofPearl!

MotherofPearl · 30/01/2020 08:24

I like that flash of contrast on the skirt - to me those frilly lacy collars on blouses are pure 80s!

AudacityOfHope · 30/01/2020 09:22

I don't like that pleated skirt on Camilla either; I think skirts like that and Kate's flippy one lack a little elegance.

latedecember1963 · 30/01/2020 09:55

Camilla's suit would have looked better with blue boots. Has she worn that suit before and had the satin border added to hive it a revamp?
The high, frilly, piecrust necklines seem to be very in at the moment judging from my mooch round the shops yesterday. I like the look but find them uncomfortable to wear as I'm too busty and menopausal.

latedecember1963 · 30/01/2020 09:55

Give not hive

bikinibottommuffintop · 30/01/2020 10:20

I love these threads but never have anything remotely worthy to contribute.. slightly tenuous link here, but MiniRodini kids have a new Princess Diana inspired collection, thought it was quite interesting!

bikinibottommuffintop · 30/01/2020 10:22

Also I have the teal Jigsaw coat and it’s definitely shorter than Kate’s so I don’t think it’s that one. Above the knee and I’m only 5ft 4.
