As on the previous thread, please critique the outfit rather than criticise the woman and keep Megxit talk for the many many threads already dedicated to that!

That coat is the sort of autumnal colour that really suits Kate. Didn't I say just a few days ago that she'd look good in teal? We know you're watching us, Middleton!

Coat looks lovely. Not a fan of the blouse though, it looks uncomfortable.

BlingLoving · 29/01/2020 10:26

So polkas aren't THAT similar. Loving her look today.

whitershadeofpale · 29/01/2020 10:31

Love today's look in general but not the blouse. I want that coat!

ajandjjmum · 29/01/2020 10:33

She's certainly out and about at the moment.

Sensible way to deal with her 'duties' really - assuming she's cramming them in during term time, so that she can be with the DC more in the school holidays.

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/01/2020 11:01

I like her R&B ankle boots and they're on sale too. Very tempted! I have a similar pair by another brand but they kill my feet :(

Today's blouse. I'd prefer it without the lace collar.

Love the coat, less keen on the jumper/blouse but it works! She's definitely working hard at the moment!

paradyning · 29/01/2020 13:54

Love the coat and the colour suits her. She's def had a colour put through her hair.

Spudlet · 29/01/2020 14:12

Like today’s outfit - the frilly jumper thingy isn’t something I’d choose for myself but it suits her style. Love the colour of the coat, and her boots.

myrtleWilson · 29/01/2020 14:38

K and W off to Wales next week. If DoC turns up in a Khalesi style outfit as her literal take on being a mother of dragons or perhaps a grown up version of this ...then we will know for sure she's a fan of style and beauty board i.etsystatic.com/21837005/r/il/8ca4e5/2198635485/il_794xN.2198635485_gy0i.jpg

I like Kate's look today, especially the petrol blue coat, which is a great colour for her, she really glows in those peacock colours. Fab boots too!

It's nice to see her in something "age appropriate" as she's often criticised here for dressing in a much older style.

NoGravyForYou · 29/01/2020 15:28

Love the colour of Kate's coat.

Camilla is wearing a flippy skirt today, in a pale blue.

Pieceofpurplesky · 29/01/2020 15:46

She looks great today and happy too

Pieceofpurplesky · 29/01/2020 15:50

Love these from today

Wow lots to catch up on not a fan of yesterday's outfit wasn't when she first wore it. I live the colour of today's coat and the outfit is a win for me it's classic but her age.

Sophie our and about today opening a health science institute at the university of Surrey. Shame she didn't take her coat of but she looks good

And Camilla on a visit to Banbury for the royal voluntary service.

Is it just me or have we had a particularly busy January for the royal women? Not that I'm complaining just seems a lot going on??

The blouse look slightly better on its own - it didn’t look great under the coat. True about the royal women getting out and about after Christmas. Would be nice for Sophie to get more recognition for her work too.

RomaineCalm · 29/01/2020 16:47

Kate looks great today - that colour blue really suits her and although the jumper/blouse isn't my thing it worked with the outfit.

Please take this in the positive way it's intended but it's almost as if Kate is being deliberately styled as 'working mum' at the moment rather than 'suited and booted royal'. The Cambridge PR team seem to be really 'on it' - lots of engagements with children's charities and projects that they genuinely care about with opportunities for relaxed, more informal photos. The holocaust portraits and the behind the scenes pictures were well done and there have been several rewears and some high street clothes just to keep it 'real'.

NoGravyForYou · 29/01/2020 17:16

@Romainecalm
Yes! Rebecca english ( I know she's DM, I only follow her on twitter don't actually look at the articles 🤣) said after yesterday's engagement that Kate was the most hands on she's seen before and was happy to pose for impromptu photos.

NoGravyForYou · 29/01/2020 17:16

Also not sure how I thought Camilla's outfit was pale blue 🤦‍♀️

frugalkitty · 29/01/2020 17:26

That lace trim on Kate's collar is making me itch just looking at it Grin

I agree that the push at the moment seems to be 'working mum'

MsJuniper · 29/01/2020 18:52

Lurker dropping in - thought you may like to see Giovanna Fletcher's post about her day with Kate plus some nice pics of the outfit under the coat. Simple but very practical. Agree about the teal and the PR!

thisenglishlife · 29/01/2020 18:53

The coat colour is great on Kate and the material looks good quality, but the style is a bit baggy for her.

I quite like the boots. I don't like the blouse, looks itchy (as mentioned by pp) and a tad fussy. I don't like skinnies on her, straight leg trousers would have been a better choice.

PinkSun9 · 29/01/2020 19:05

Camilla seems to be revitalized, reinvigorated. Her skin has less wrinkles and is glowing. Pics in DM online, sorry, don't know how to add the link.

Spudlet · 29/01/2020 19:07

Off-topic but Giovanna Fletcher was on Jenni Falconer’s running podcast, which I listened to quite recently, and I liked her very much. Very funny lady.

Anyway! Back to the clothes!
