As on the previous thread, please critique the outfit rather than criticise the woman and keep Megxit talk for the many many threads already dedicated to that!

Yes Charlene's hair does look good in those pictures, but I really don't like her chiffon skirt.

StCharlotte · 27/01/2020 22:42

... and Letizia and Camilla.

MotherofPearl · 27/01/2020 22:49

Yes @StCharlotte, she was. I really liked her blouse (CPV's). Leti and SFF were there too, and Camilla.

Cross posted!

Rhubarbisevil · 27/01/2020 23:02

Finally found you!

Lunde · 27/01/2020 23:10

I loved Kate's outfit today - I think it really suited.

I thought it was a bit odd that Camilla went alone to Auschwitz. Most countries either sent Ministers + royal or a Royal couple. For example CPV attended with Sweden's PM etc. It made me wonder if someone else was originally pencilled in for the event and Camilla was a last minute substitute (H&M or PA etc)

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 27/01/2020 23:13

I think you're pro anything @Lunde

InvisibleWomenMustBeRead · 27/01/2020 23:14

Probably right, that should say! Strange auto correct!

Lunde · 27/01/2020 23:24

I like what Kate is doing with her patronages as well - she seems to be getting really involved with the actual work - early years, photography etc. I like the way she is putting time and thought into what she does and is going further than the traditional "handshake, photo opp and ribbon cutting".

Has Kate got a new stylist recently? Her clothes seem somehow fresher since Christmas. Hope she continues into spring and we see fewer of the pastel coatdresses.

@beanaseireann @banivani (Or Bean Uí Vani as I read it in my head)....

Yiz are hilarious. Besmirching the good name of Bosco. Now there’s a style icon.

Stop mortifying us in front of the English.

Lost you for a while.

I realised today what a sheltered Irish childhood I had.

I only know Bosco as the wee fella in the box!

Remember his pals, Frank and Mary I think... now there was a strong style statement.

CanIHaveATiaraPlease · 28/01/2020 06:30

Kate always looks engaged I agree.

Interesting point about Camilla Lunde

Hahaaaaaa never thought of that one (but then I have no Irish haha)!

Can’t you just imagine it though “boys have willies and girls have boscos”.

Enjoyed seeing the rings upthread. Swedish tradition is a plain gold ring for engagement and marriage for both sexes. Nowadays the woman might have stones in hers. But they’re seldom as big and blingy as in other countries. I dislike them from a practical view. They don’t look like they are meant to be worn daily and thus look like dressing up jewellery. So I think I like Camilla’s best.

paradyning · 28/01/2020 07:48

I like Max's black hat. Although it feels terrible to be commenting on what someone is wearing at Auschwitz.

QueenOfTheAndals · 28/01/2020 08:06

I know what you mean @paradyning. I can just about say I liked Kate's dress yesterday and it was event-appropriate but for the events at the actual camp I can't bring myself to think about fashion.

It appears we have a new Princess in Belgium. Old Albert's wayward sperm has come home to roost.

frugalkitty · 28/01/2020 09:49

I wonder if she can become a princess as she's illegitimate...not a nice word, I know. Apparently he'd had an affair with her mother which lasted 18 years!

CanIHaveATiaraPlease · 28/01/2020 09:59

And denied paternity - not nice

My word, that's quite a spray...

NoGravyForYou · 28/01/2020 10:25

That poor woman has been fighting him to admit that for teh best part of a decade in court, and even longer before she went to court. Can't imagine it will be a happy family meeting at this stage.

NoGravyForYou · 28/01/2020 10:54

Oh Kate is out today at a children's hospital. A black tweed jacket and matching skirt.

NoGravyForYou · 28/01/2020 10:55

D&G according to Rebecca English on twitter. This is a rewear isn't it?

Royal style: from pussy bows to furbelows
QueenOfTheAndals · 28/01/2020 11:07

Yes, I've seen that on her before. I like the pattern but not keen on the flippy skirt.

OP posts:
AlexGS · 28/01/2020 11:14

It's very late in the game for DOC's clothing staff to not be putting weights into her shorter skirts and dresses!

D&G rewear, not terribly exciting for the price. The jacket is better than the skirt - the proportions of the skirt are off for a tall woman, especially one who is dressed professionally.

Her hair is looking good today.
