Lipstick Challenge January 2020.

Hello lipstick junkies and a very Happy New Year to you all! (And a new decade!)

So, the point of this 'challenge' for any newbies is to go through your lipstick stash and wear a different colour everyday! Pictures are useful (although not mandatory) although colour descriptions are good too! Definitely post brand and shade name/number please!

(So many exclamation marks, can you tell I'm excited? I love this, it's something fun during a dreary month.)

I will begin, I'm wearing L'Oreal matte lipstick in 'Stay the night'. I think it was a Boots exclusive or freebie or something (I got it on eBay.) It's a purple-y wine shade and very comfortable to wear.

I bought a Claudia Winkleman double ended lippie in the Boots sale, but it's really not my colours, bright orange one end, nude the other, quite matt. Free to good home if anyone wants to PM me!

Hi so many beautiful colours and lips!
For lipsticks I no longer love, I either leave them at work in tub labelled as free to good home and they go or if barely worn, wipe with alcohol wipe and drop off at woman’s shelter with unused extra toiletries. If I had to start again with nothing, I’d def feel happy to use lightly used/tried stuff but not sure if everyone would?!?
Today I wore Velvet Fawn, another cracker by Lisa Eldridge but bit too peach for me so may pass onto friend who was eager to try!

No 7 today high shine lipgloss. Strangely it doesn't have a colour as was part of a gift set I had for Christmas. Nude-y pink.

Today, I’m wearing a lipstick from Milani called I am smart. Where do they come up with these silly shade names?

It is supposed to be a dupe (slightly lighter) for Lisa Eldridge’s Velvet Muse.

It is really nice, and affordable too. I don’t love the scent/taste of the lipstick as I apply it, but it goes away after a minute.

Joining in as I have tons of lipsticks and I don't wear them enough. I'm dreaming of the day I might actually finish one!

Today is Urban Decay Vice lipstick in 1993. I love this one but it looks very bold against my pale skin, so I blot and apply a little Vaseline over it. Trying to be brave enough to wear it more often.

Clinique Sprinkle Pop Semi sheer formula which doesn’t last very long but does brighten my face.

Maybelline crayon in Make It Happen. bit brighter than the norm for me, but am trying to brighten a dreich Tuesday

Elizabeth Arden Rose Berry. I’m off out this evening so I need something bright. Sorry for the close up of my nostrils.

I'm really impressed with the Primark lipstick I bought, I only need to refresh it twice at work all day!

I got a smashbox mini set last year with my Boots points and have finally cracked it open! Wore smashbox Audition today, a mauve/grey nude on me. I wasn't wearing any other makeup so I think it washed me out a bit, must try harder next time. Ill try something bolder tomorrow.
I'm learning of lots of new brands from this thread, I never noticed that Primark do makeup 🤔

Today I am wearing Urban Decay F Bomb, it's a bright scarlet cream finish, I've actually used one of these up and re bought it. Its moisturising and lasts well.
Maybe slightly glam for an NHS meeting but idc :)

Yesterday was my first day back at work so I wore Sleek liquid lipstick in Shabby Chic. I got so many compliments at work one lady even telling me I looked beautiful (I don’t really wear noticeable lipstick - although I have hundreds!)

Today I’m wearing Revolution Pro in lipstick (in a set of five) in Bare.

Today im wearing Givenchy Rouge Artelier a sheer orangy red

Boots no 7 moisture drench in Berry Blush.

Pat Mcgrath MatteTrance in obsessed, a matte orange that reminds me of Mac's Lady Danger.

Max Factor Colour Elixir in Bewitching Coral. Not applied it very well but I find this one tricky to get right.

I love bewitching coral, I used to have it. I'm gutted I can't post pictures. ☹️
