Lipstick Challenge January 2020.

Hello lipstick junkies and a very Happy New Year to you all! (And a new decade!)

So, the point of this 'challenge' for any newbies is to go through your lipstick stash and wear a different colour everyday! Pictures are useful (although not mandatory) although colour descriptions are good too! Definitely post brand and shade name/number please!

(So many exclamation marks, can you tell I'm excited? I love this, it's something fun during a dreary month.)

I will begin, I'm wearing L'Oreal matte lipstick in 'Stay the night'. I think it was a Boots exclusive or freebie or something (I got it on eBay.) It's a purple-y wine shade and very comfortable to wear.

Love that pink Jemima. So many more pinks on the thread this year than I can remember before.

I agree lucked we have definitely moved to pinks!
Today and yesterday were Avon True Colour lipsticks 1st = lava love and 2nd= knock out pink! Mini lipsticks from eBay which are a fab way to try out new styles/ colours.

Revlon Blushing Mauve for me....bit more pink than my usual, but seems to be a theme for this thread

Here is the other Rouge in love I bought, paler than I normally wear but it has worked really well.

Estée Lauder pure colour envy in intense nude.

Ysl tatouage couture matte stain in 20.
It is a very bright medium fuchsia. This lipstick is quite thin (like a stain) so IMO it seems more casual and young than a traditional liquid lipstick.
It lasts all day which is nice.

May I joing in o nthe action please?

Just Vaseline for me today as my lips are so dry but trying to work my way through my lipsticks (and justify buying others)

I would like to try MAC ruby woo and velvet teddy!

Marc Jacobs Charlotte today (thought I should continue the pink theme 😆). It's shinier than I usually wear but a lovely wearable colour.

Itallwentwrong - if you like matte lipstick then Velvet Teddy and Ruby Woo are both really nice!

Late to the game and I won't manage every day but I am wearing Raging Red by Wet N Wild. No other makeup, just that 🤣 also, it is really hard to get a nice non smiling photo of your lips but it shows the lipstick better when not smiling.

Hi new folk. Welcome.

Yesterday was Stila liquid lips. Meant to stay all day. It did not and smudged red all over so looked terrible. Recycling bin it goes....

Revlon Certainly Red. From super lustrous creme range. Brilliant lipstick. Underrated I think; when new companies keep starting up I end up forgetting the golden oldies but this rocks.

Marc Jacobs Je t`aime today. Love this lipstick and I'm glad Buster advertised it a couple years ago on this thread 😘.

Clarins joli rouge in 705 soft berry. More brown than berry on me.

Revlon colorburst crayon in Sultry

Pat McGrath Divine Nude liquid lipstick.

I'm loving the Rouge in love and Avvon lipsticks, and nice to see someone else liking Pinkies lips! ☺️

Marc Jacobs Oh Miley! today. Its a bright red but looks quite pink in certain lights.

Revlon ultra HD matte lip mousse in Dusk today. this was part of a recent TK Maxx haul, and it was b dark so I blotted it down quite a bit, but it lasted well

Nars velvet matte lip pencil in Dolce Vita today. I wanted this for ages before I bought it and I love the colour and soft finish, but the staying power is poor.
