Lipstick Challenge January 2020.

Hello lipstick junkies and a very Happy New Year to you all! (And a new decade!)

So, the point of this 'challenge' for any newbies is to go through your lipstick stash and wear a different colour everyday! Pictures are useful (although not mandatory) although colour descriptions are good too! Definitely post brand and shade name/number please!

(So many exclamation marks, can you tell I'm excited? I love this, it's something fun during a dreary month.)

I will begin, I'm wearing L'Oreal matte lipstick in 'Stay the night'. I think it was a Boots exclusive or freebie or something (I got it on eBay.) It's a purple-y wine shade and very comfortable to wear.

I’ve got loads of dark pinks and pinky reds, when you know what suits you it is hard not to buy when you find a nice shade.

Bourjois Rouge Velvet in Hyppink Chic

Saw this being raved about on FB. It is a lovely everyday MLBB shade but apparently doesn't have v good staying power. I'm going to fall in love with it aren't I and Bourjois is going?

Benefit they're real double the lip in Pink Thrills. The discolouration on my top lip is a Fenty beauty highlighter which looks much darker in the photo than in life.

The colour is too light for me, really, but I'm going to use it up.

Lisa eldridge velvet morning , one of my current favourites , the formula is incredible .

Oooh I'm a bit late but I joined in last year & it was fab!

Pat Mcgrath liquid lipstick in femme moderne with bronze astral vinyl gloss (also Pat Mcgrath) on top.

I am not a fan of this lipstick as it turns light mauve/purple on me, which makes me look dead. The gloss makes it better, but it’s still not fantastic.

I had a Lisa Eldridge for Christmas - I agree it's amazing. Will try to remember to wear tomorrow.

NYX matte in Charmed. this was taken at the end of a long day, with just a quick reapplication after lunch so it's lasted pretty well

Can I ask, how many lippies do people have? I’ve about 5 😊 and think that’s too many!

Around 70 - a mix of regular lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, glosses and minis/gwps.

Well, I don’t feel too bad now! Although, most of mine are basically the same shade 🤷‍♀️

My very badly applied go to for work. Avon Divine Twig, really natural looking nude

I've probably got about 40 to 50 but the scary thing is I wore one of my older ones the other day and I think it may be going off, the terrible thing is I have about another 6 of the same brand which where bought at the same time! I hope they all don't start to go off.

Grab the wrong lipstick when I was in a rush this morning. A nude would have been better with my outfit but got another pink!

Avon Shine Burst gloss in Mango

Laura Mercier Velour lovers lipstick in An Affair. A, lovely plummy wine colour with a hint of brown rather than pink. It's a favourite for nights out.

High street red today Rimmel Lasting finish.
