Starting a thread to discuss the contents as we hit December.

Who is getting this one this year?

This was my very first beauty calendar last year and it’s definitely got me addicted. I loved it!

This year you can order the calendar from 31st October. Price is £40 when you spend £25 at M&S. Contents are worth over £300.

Please don’t discuss the contents ahead of time on here as most people don’t want to know (or as in my case, read then forget!).

I’m fine with skincare, but today’s size is a bit crap. M&S hasn’t lived up to expectation for me this year.

I am loving the Nuxe cream from yesterday. I am using it as a moisturiser and it's leaving my skin looking a lot more "finished"
I will wait to use today's. I wish they hadn't given us two very similar products in a row

To be fair, this cream is an expensive one! £75 for 50ml so our little tube is worth £10.50

This is one that I'll have to google to see how to use and what to expect! I loved the Filogoria eye cream last year but it was too pricey to rebuy.

I am getting on fine with the Nuxe - have used it as a normal moisturiser (over my serum) and is just enough. Not sure how perfected I am!!

I'm always very suspicious of these correctors and smoothers and perfectors. Never been convinced I can tell any difference at all.

I thought the same but I’ve just come back from the supermarket where I bumped into an acquaintance who told me my skin was looking very glowy was so surprised!

Wearing the Nuxe stuff today - haven’t tried today’s cream yet

I'm hoping for something different tomorrow. Fingers crossed it's a good one! The last couple of days have been a bit rubbish for me - although i like the brands, I don't think I'll use correction creams as I'm not entirely sure what it's for! Both for the swap pile I think. I'm hoping for perfume or hand cream

Was someone going to do a tally on the cost of each product?

I guess today’s is different to what we’ve had so far but not particularly excited by it. Hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised when I try it?

Not especially exciting but I'll use it. This is a good size to put in a wash bag to take away.

I like today’s . My skin is so dry as I am having chemo . I took my black trousers off last night and , oh my dears , they were white inside . I shall slather this on today .

This is so useful for a week's holiday. I love knowing that I've got travel toiletries sorted for next year.

I like today’s too. Did we all get the same scent? Mine was coconut!

Yes mine was coconut. Might save for the summer as coconuts remind me of summer holidays

Omg the coconut butter is my favourite so far! It smells amazing. Already put it on. Wow.

I got coconut too. Not particularly impressed but it will be handy for travelling.

I hate the smell of coconut too, this one is going to my mother who lives a hundred miles away, so I cant smell it if she uses it.

Andwhatnext, I'm sorry, but I can't do the tallying this year as repairs to my car took precedence over an Advent calendar.
I'm enjoying reading everyone's responses to the boxes each day, though. Hopefully normal service will resume next year.

Same @Beadstar It was heavy so I was a bit excited but this just isn’t exciting for me however it smells nice and I would use it

Catching up ... I don't love the smell of coconut but I'll use it. I'll try the Filorga from yesterday but it's such a small stingy sample it'll be difficult to judge whether it's any use. Unless I can try a product a good few times I'm unlikely to repurchase.

I like the body butter, and a decent size

Coconut smell v strong so I mixed a bit of it in with my usual Superdrug vit E moisturiser this morning. Now smell much reduced but skin on hands feels lovely.

Oh shit I opened box 13 today. Oh well now I know what's in "my" tomorrow box.
