M&S Beauty Advent Calendar 2019

Starting a thread to discuss the contents as we hit December.

Who is getting this one this year?

This was my very first beauty calendar last year and it’s definitely got me addicted. I loved it!

This year you can order the calendar from 31st October. Price is £40 when you spend £25 at M&S. Contents are worth over £300.

If you do want to know the full contents you can find them over at ReallyRee (SPOLIERS!).

Please don’t discuss the contents ahead of time on here as most people don’t want to know (or as in my case, read then forget!).

I don't usually wear black eyeliner but I'll give it a go. It's a classic so can't fault them for that, though I definitely favour the bronze stila one from last year.

One of the nicest nail colours from any of the M&S calendars so far in my view.
I think this will be a nice colour for my toes.

Today’s is lovely . I have liked everything so far . I am using the tiniest bit of hair cream as I am not losing my hair yet . I got my wig voucher yesterday , which way should I go ?

I owned only one nail polish which I use for my toes. It's pretty much same colour as the one we got today :). I am happy.

That’s a lovely colour from today’s box. I'm not allowed to wear nail varnish for work so I never even consider looking at it to buy in the shops, but now that I have some I might ask a dd to put it on over the weekend.

Does anyone else think the night cream smells like brasso? I'll use it up put really really do not like that scent at all, its weirdly industrial.

Love the nail polish. Have got gel on my fingernails but my toes will feel the benefit.

Trumpton there are some great wigs out there. Mine is an ombré one called Kai from Rene of Paris, people have asked me where I got the colour done and are amazed if I tell them it’s a wig. It’s your hair once it’s on your head though! Worth paying a bit more for a good one. Feel free to PM me

I don’t wear nail varnish - I haven’t since I had children - but this is such a lovely colour that I’ve applied some straight away. I love it!

I think I’ll re gift the nail polish. I don’t like pearl colours. They don’t suit my skin colour.

Love the nail varnish but don't think I'll get to keep it. It's the sort of colour DD loves, I'm sure she'll "borrow" it.

I'm a bit late to the M&S advent thread, also a bit late to the whole beauty advent calendar thing! So far I am loving the Aveda hair treatment, the REN night cream and the lip and eye cream. The cleanser is nice but not nice enough for me to make the change from the body shop camomile balm. The eyeliner is not for me as I dont wear it but I'm sure one of my friends would love it! The nail polish is lovely but Im a gel girl usually, but this colour is really nice so I will probably give it a go. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Lovely colour - I really like it and am going to try it later. I've a few Nails inc polishes and they seem to last a few days (on me) without chipping unlike sodding Chanel.

I expected that there would be a nail polish included but I'm v pleasantly surprised that M&S didn't go for a stereotypical Christmas red.

I liked the eyeliner from yesterday as well. I tend to go for greys/browns but it’s a lovely creamy consistency and I’m sure I’ll get plenty of wear out of it over the Christmas period.
