Starting a thread to discuss the contents as we hit December.

Who is getting this one this year?

This was my very first beauty calendar last year and it’s definitely got me addicted. I loved it!

This year you can order the calendar from 31st October. Price is £40 when you spend £25 at M&S. Contents are worth over £300.

If you do want to know the full contents you can find them over at ReallyRee (SPOLIERS!).

Please don’t discuss the contents ahead of time on here as most people don’t want to know (or as in my case, read then forget!).

@PrincessWatermelon and @OnTheFirstDayOfChristmas I am picking up the formula box tomorrow. Maybe start a thread? I haven't decided when I'm opening but I am considering wrapping it for Christmas Day.

I used the cleanser this morning and the hair stuff later on. Am enjoying it so far

I used the hair thing this morning and am also impressed. I didn’t have to straighten after I blow dried and it looks good!
Not bothered about the mascara, will save the face wash for travel as it’s a good size for hand luggage so pleased with it too. Looking forward to the morning!

Joining in. I also had the calendar last year and loved it. I’m a bit disappointed this year so far! Haven’t tried the hair thing yet. Had the mascara last year. Won’t use the eye lip cream and I don’t like rose scent.
Is there already a swap thread?

I know what you mean, i’m also disappointed but don’t really know why.
I didn’t like the hair cream, my hair looked drier than usual in the morning but will try it again before making my mind up. Mascara I had last year, it’s ok but isn’t the best. Cleanser i’m more happy about but not tried. Lip and eye cream I tried tonight and put too much on, it feels like it’s burning a bit.

Like the night cream! Very happy with this.

I can report I used the cleanser in the bath and then just standing at the sink this morning. Thumbs up, I think! Definite rose smell for those wondering , but perfectly pleasant in my opinion.

I used the cleanser last night and absolutely love it! It left my skin feeling super clean but also very soft
Happy with today's offering! I always like Ren products. I will probably put this away for travel

I really liked the Ren firming shot that came in the calendar 2 years ago so I'm pleased to try something else from this brand. I'm going to put this one away for when my current night cream runs out,

Oooh I already use this night cream and really like it. It's quite rich and good in winter when I get radiator face

I was using their cleanser last night that I got from a different calendar, it's lovely but tends to dry in the 'end' so you have to really 'trump' (noises from the container, not yourself from the effort of squeezing ) it out of the tube so hopefully this won't be the same! :)

REN Clean Skincare - V-Cense Revitalising Night Cream - 30ml

Excited by the night cream. Really hoping for a day cream as well.

Yesterday’s cleanser was not as I expected. It actually felt a bit cheap to me, felt very weird on and wasn’t effective at removing eye makeup. So disappointed as I loved the previous Alpha A products. I’ll give it a try again tonight and see how it is a second time.

I love this calendar and this thread, this is my 3rd year now. Love getting the low down on products on here when I'm not sure how to best use something. I really like the Aveda hair product it's the only thing I've tried so far.

I used the Aveda hair stuff from day one again this morning and I must admit my barnet looks bloody gorgeous. I'll definitely be repurchasing it.

We did get it last year, yes. I've just found the other sample whilst putting this one in my 'new products' drawer.

REN did well out of me after I got this cream in the calendar last year. I ended up buying at least 6 full size products over the year as a result of liking this. So although it's a repeat it's one I will use.

That sounds like me! It’s a nice product though so you could use them back to back.

I like Ren, happy with this although I don’t think it will last long.

Also happy with night cream - have a few already but can certainly use it and am pleased with Ren. Is the packaging different to last year's? I thought the last one was another of their products.

Haven't tried the cleanser yet as have a few in rotation already.

I don't remember this from last year. I know we did have a REN one before - maybe an eye cream? Or day cream? Now I'm thinking, maybe I wasn't massively enthusiastic...
Anyway, I'll probably use up my current one first.

I amazed at those who are disappointed. I didn't get the calendar last year but had it the year before that and this is a definite step up in terms of size and quality of products. The aveda hair stuff is amazing and Im really happy with everything else too.

This is a first for me too so will slap a bit on tonight and see how we go.

M&S and H&B are kicking Liberty out of the park so far for me.
