Hi @fishinginthecut they are Levi's tapered leg boyfriend jeans - I'll see if I can find a link

Ellapaella · 19/05/2019 08:51

@fishinginthecut having had a look they don't seem to do the exact same ones anymore - I got these in the Debenhams sale after Christmas, they were only £28 so maybe end of line? They are called Levi 501 tapered leg boyfriend jeans, there are some similar ones on the Levi's website. Have a look on amazon as well as they sometime do the end of line stuff.

@Ella poor you! Hope the new antibiotics are starting to work and you’ll be lots brighter by the end of today. I think your kitchen is gorgeous! The brick tiles are such a great choice with the units/wooden floors and paint colour. Great, and a very well designed layout.

@Huff totally love your Monsoon jumpsuit, bag and even shoes (but yes if not great quality return). I wish I could wear that, but with my boobs I know it wouldn’t look right Sad. I think the pattern is fabulous and the subtle embellishment on the v neck doesn’t detract to make it look “fussy”. Love Love!

@never I’m contemplating buying the Gudrun trousers in b&w because they are so flattering and such high quality jersey. I would have gone for the multicoloured ones as a first option but they’ve been ooo for ages (even when I bought my blue ones) and I need S as Gudrun is super generous sizing.

Loved all the chat, and @lens bargainous trainers (great colour for summer) and @Each’s beautiful hair (yes please tell us the secret, I’m thinning a bit too post menopause is the pits).
The crab and lobster festival was a huge success yesterday. Overcast but warm and no wind. I ate seafood and too many other forbidden things including lots of tapenade I bought from a guy who has an olive farm in Greece he has restored over the last 20 years and was selling his amazing produce at the fair. Also some handcrafted book markers (£4 each! Amazing) and a shawl pin which has little shells/starfish bits also handcrafted which will be great for my many summer linen coverups or indeed kimonos. Also handcrafted by a lovely lady who makes the most amazing jewellery and is not even on Etsy! I may go back and buy a necklace from her today. Lots of similar foodie and craft stalls, music and even a town crier competition (have never seen so many of them in one place!). I’ll try and fit in a beach walk before we return home tonight as it looks like the sun will be out later today.

I Love Huff jumpsuit so much too, thinking of ordering now. Every single jumpsuit I’ve ever tried has looked awful truly pants on me but the Monsoon site shows a bigger model wearing it who looks really good in it...problem is chest vs bottom proportions and if I order M it may be too tight across my chest yet if I go for L as in the size 18 model it’ll look crazily huge everywhere but on my chest...should I risk the M?

Huffthepuff · 19/05/2019 11:38

Soyyo that sounds so lovely! If you buy a necklace you must show us. And your shawl pin. I'm a huge fan of handcrafted jewellery.
Yes the embellishments on the jumpsuit are quite bling so I will wear with v.simple jewellery and probably my Birkenstock's to dress it down. We've been invited to a few things next month including a bbq so I'm looking forward to wearing it then.

Just been for a dog walk across the fields leaving DP and DS to chill at home. Wore short hundred stars kimono (less wafty) over a Hush slub tee. The weather is mild although not sunny. Hopefully a bit better next weekend.

How are you feeling today @Ellapaella?

Huffthepuff · 19/05/2019 11:42

Soyyo it was the picture of the larger model wearing the jumpsuit that encouraged me to try it. She looks great in it. Worth trying the M as I think the L would swamp your lower body. With 20% off and free returns it's worth it. Just sent the sandals back 👍

Ellapaella · 19/05/2019 11:58

@SoyYo your festival sounds amazing! I'm tempted to bring the camper van down for it next year if it's an annual event?
@Huffthepuff I'm so much better today thank you. I find avoiding all caffeine and sugar helps but also have different antibiotics which are hopefully doing the trick. My lovely Mum has come up for the week so just been out in the fields with her and the dog as well. Lovely day ☀️Where abouts do you live Huff?

SoyYo · 19/05/2019 12:01

Thank You Huff I think I’ll give it a try in M as I’d love a jumpsuit if I could only find a flattering one on me...this might be “the one” I totally adore the print but you do look great in everything so no guarantee on me...yes I’ll take photos of my handcrafted bits and post later. I tend to but unusual jewellery and specially when it’s handcrafted and I can buy directly from the person who made it...it’s always more “special” that way

SoyYo · 19/05/2019 12:06

@Ella yes it’s an annual event. Pm me later if you want to know more. I can hear them playing folk music so about to go out. It’s very old fashioned Norfolk fair really with local producers and crafters (and seafood!) and kids activities too (punch and Judy/pirates etc). Cookery classes. And the beach over the road/pier, etc etc. Here’s a pic of the Jewellery stall I was talking about, and my lovely olive oil man.

Glad you're feeling brighter today Ella! Great news.
We live in East Sussex. We're quite close to Rye, Camber Sands and Hastings so I'm going to look out for a seafood festival a la Soy 😆** There's a seafood and wine festival in September in Hastings so will aim for that.
Not quite the same as having one happening beneath your balcony though!

Ellapaella · 19/05/2019 13:07

Ah you two are also by the coast like me. I love living by the sea, couldn't bear to move away from it now. We need a new thread.. I'll get it started
