Great Huff thanks for the code! Actually monsoon have some amazing stuff in! Wish I hadn't looked 🤦‍♀️I think from your photos you look a similar size to me - I'm a 10 most places sometimes a 12 so I'll go for the medium.

Ellapaella · 18/05/2019 12:33

@GinandGingerBeer this one? It's beautiful https://uk.monsoon.co.uk/view/product/ukcatalog/mon11.18,mon_11.16/6474111552

grannycake · 18/05/2019 12:33

the miriam and the tatiana have arrived. The Tatiana is great - nice fabric, hangs well and will be a really useful summer staple. The Miriam does have a touch of the "midget in a tent" look that melen described earlier. But i love the pattern and it has pockets (i love pockets) and the fabric feels like it has some starch in it som I'm hoping once I've washed it it will soften. Keeping them both anyway and I'm definitely not buying anything else

Link fail - this one

@Huffthepuff unfortunately H&M sizing is a minefield but I'm the same as you and would go for medium.

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 12:38

That's lovely Ella 😍** i love those colours

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 12:40

Huff brilliant outfit, ikwym about sandals I always fall for the pretty sparkly ones, but rarely any good for walking lots.
I have been thinking about a jumpsuit, my dd loves them & has loads I’m going RL shopping tomorrow so am going to try the monsoon one & at that price would be worth paying to get it shortened.

Ninkaninus · 18/05/2019 12:41

I hate H&M and their horrendously unpredictable sizing. I actually don’t buy from them anymore because of it - I won’t order from them online and I don’t have the patience for trying on multiple sizes of everything in the shops. Grrrr I’m getting cross just thinking about it.

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 12:44

Yy H&M sizing, they have supposedly made it a bit more standardised but I’m not convinced, Monsoon are great for beach stuff but ££ they do have good sales though.

Ellapaella · 18/05/2019 12:49

@Huffthepuff you have a great eye - you choose things I'd never think of trying - when I see them on you I immediately love them and want them.

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 13:04

@Ellapaella that's very kind of you! I think I speak for everyone on this thread when i say that's how we feel about you! You make everything look incredible
Currently enjoying Keeley Busby on Instagram. I really love her style (the H&M skirt lust is her fault for instance)

twosoups1972 · 18/05/2019 15:23

Will catch up properly later, I’m on the way to Manchester enjoying free virgin trains WiFi.

@melen would you recommend Sorrento for a family summer holiday? We were thinking of Ireland but gone off that idea now.

Binkybix · 18/05/2019 15:51

Huff that looks Star

GinandGingerBeer · 18/05/2019 16:10

I can't open your link for some reason @Huffthepuff
I don't think that was the exact one I saw @ella, but very similar. They are lovely.
Kimono has arrived and I didn't realise that 100 stars is actually a local company, their warehouse is 1.8 miles from my house!
Did anyone get a 'throwover' as opposed to a kimono? I'm tempted. I'd also like a dressing gown, I'm in love with the prints.
Hush order placed. First one for me since I ordered the turquoise maple dress back in March time I think. I haven't worn it yet but will be taking on holiday next week.
I preferred the turquoise pineapple sweater after seeing Ella in it Smile
Also ordered the yellow Santana in an optimistic size 8, reviews say comes up big but so's my ass and belly atm Smile
Then I placed a random one, the S/S jumpsuit in blueberry (full length leg one) not sure how that's going to look but we shall see, anyone have it?

I feel absolutely exhausted today. Can't remember if I said up thread but I have what I assume is peri menopausal insomnia. My body and brain are exhausted and I've spent the day in my pjs. DH is in Philadelphia with work so I'm just chilling when really I should be getting my clothes out for my holiday in case any of them need a re wash after being in the attic wardrobe all winter.
I might have to fabreeze em instead or something Grin

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 17:14

Gin I hadn't spotted the throwovers, they are lovely. Might get my sister one of the stalk ones, she'd love that. I really like the longer length on them

Just home from a national trust place nearby. DP and I had a go at archery! Wore my 100 stars kimono but took it off for that bit 😂 I got it caught in the babygate earlier, perils of wafty apparel

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 17:44

soups have a great time, Sorrento is beautiful very easy to get the train too Pompeii & other volcano ruins that I can’t remember the name of, can also get the boat over to Capri & bus up too the Amalfi coast/Ravello etc the only possible drawback is no beaches, the coastline is quite rocky but there are bathing platforms, plenty of places to stay in Sorrento itself, also some hotels in a smaller resort Sant’Angello which walkable or short bus ride into the main square in Sorrento.

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 17:47

Gin so horrible when you feel like that, the brain fog & exhaustion is no fun fabreeze is your friend.
I popped into peacocks earlier & got a couple of the cheap cotton T-shirts & these trainers, they were only £10.00 & very comfy & nice cheerful colour.

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 17:51

I have some pretty satin ribbon, so am going to re-lace them with it & see what they looks like, as I’ve noticed lots of trainers lately with ribbon laces.

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 17:53

huff that’s why I shied away from the kimono, I’m so accident prone I would do myself untold damage & probably lose an arm with wafty sleeves.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 18:38

Well for me huff I caught the sleeves numerous times on handles of doors especially at my mums house. 3 times i did it. Was so scared it would rip them off!!!. Its just at that length for the handles of things.
@melen, lovely trainers. Love the colour. I need to go to peacocks. We have one locally. Bought a great V-neck cotton tee from there and it has washed up better than the hush ones. Need to buy some more. Similar to the hush once but cotton rather than cotton slub so not see through.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 18:40

hush ones not once. They are also a good length.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 18:40

Its so miserable today all ive done is feel tired :(

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 18:54

never that’s what I always do on door handles 😂, I’m black n blue sometimes, take blood thinners as well so it’s even worse.
Yes I have a peacocks just down the road, they can sometimes have some gems, often pick up some lovely bits for dgd, I thought I would give the T-shirts a go as they are so cheap & as trainers are really not on my radar I thought they were a good summer colour & going to try a pair of khaki Superga as a better quality option.

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 18:55

Oops posted so soon, aww it’s horrible when you feel tired & listless it’s been grey here, but actually quite warm.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 19:03

Yeh, its quite warm here too. I had a pair of navy superga. They were nice. They got worn out at the back [ I wore them quite a lot] so they were binned in the end.
