Morning everyone!

What a change to the weather, a couple of days ago it properly felt like summer and now it’s gloomy and grey.

Soy you are definitely right about the emotional sensitivity and also the multiple personas in relation to fashion and clothing - it can be a problem really because I find I have to have three or four totally separate wardrobes of clothing to cater to it. It’s expensive and it takes up loads of room.

Ninkaninus · 18/05/2019 09:48

Will try to catch up on thread now!

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 10:11

cherries crikey that’s a lot of miles, lovely though & they sound fab😍
Ella hope you feel a bit better & the sweatshirt is very pretty binky also hope you are on the mend.
Fuzzy lovely dresses & nice colours.

Ninkaninus · 18/05/2019 10:14

So...my haul for the month...

Kimono
Bolero
Fitflops
Espadrille wedges
Miriam dress (loved it so much I had to get one too!)
Joules bag
Breton top

As it stands I really don’t need much for summer now - a pair of denim cut off jeans, a broderie top, maxi skirt or dress, a floppy straw hat. On the smarter side I’d like a blazer in either dusky pink, greeny gold (does anyone know what I mean by that? - it’s another one of those ^I’ll know it when I see it’ colours) or a mushroomy taupe. Would love a suede jacket in some kind of nude/neutral shade but I don’t think I’ll be able to afford that as I want to get another Mulberry bag. A small structured handbag in a dusky pink would be nice too. Might pick up a pair of stacked heel shoes from Timberland as well when they do their sale.

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 10:21

Nink oooh lovely buys & lol at the Miriam dress, I caved to that as well. Yy colours I do that all the time & search high n low for what’s in my head. Also multiple personas fashion wise I long to be all wafty & boho but usually look ridiculous as dont have the height, also veer towards a bit of 50’s/60’s full circle dresses/shifts with a bit of rock chic thrown in, my wardrobe is permanently confused.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 10:24

Oooooh melen, did i hear you right? Did you order the miriam? Its lovely and fresh but the style is not for me. I don't think i would suit it at all. I think you will look great in it. Post a piccy when it comes😁

Ninkaninus · 18/05/2019 10:24

Flowers to those who are ill or have worrying situations going on.

Again all the outfits are pretty and I like those two dresses that a pp posted, they look perfect and pretty for summer.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 10:30

Oh and soyo just love those trousers both ways. I looked but oos in that colour and the other multi ones. Only left in black and white. They are a fab buy!😍

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 10:42

So the jacket i ordered came. Its lovely but not sure its what I'm looking for. I may return it. Its shorter than i want but otherwise lovely.

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 10:44

Its the romeo. Will post a pic laterSmile

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 10:45

Aww thanks never I’m not convinced it won’t make look like a midget wearing a tent😂but I have coveted it since it came out & huff looked brilliant in it, will post a pic though when I get it.
I was wondering how your Mum was doing the other day, is she doing ok?

neveradullmoment99 · 18/05/2019 10:59

Yes she is doing good. A bit forgetful and it saddens me tbh when i think of what she was like when she was younger. As someone older said to me, old age doesn't come aloneSad.
But she is still with us and i am grateful. Thanks for asking😊

dontcallmelen · 18/05/2019 11:06

😘

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 11:53

Monsoon order arrived. Sandals are pretty and the leather is soft but the soles are thin and flat so I don't think they'll last or be very comfortable. Going back.
Round crochet bag is fab, great for our holiday and big enough for nappies, towels, sun cream etc. So the wildcard... a jumpsuit. I love it, and really only bought it on a whim to get free delivery. It's super comfy and flattering which aren't words I would associate with a jumpsuit. The pattern is a bit jazzy for me but good for holiday and summer bbqs.

I love the jumpsuit! Big thumbs up.

That’s another thing I do need for summer. I’ve got two, one khaki linen one which is cool looking but not pretty, and a navy one which is on the dressy side. I’d like a nice relaxed one like yours.

Ellapaella · 18/05/2019 12:07

@Huffthepuff love the jumpsuit! Is it Monsoon? It looks lovely - like you say ideal for summer nights out, parties etc. I may have to order one.. what's the sizing like?

Ellapaella · 18/05/2019 12:08

Can't see it on the website Huff - do you have a link?

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 12:09

Thanks Nink! I sized up to get a relaxed fit so it would skim all the bits. And it was 20% off so I'm chuffed

Waiting for DS to wake up from nap so we can get out and enjoy the weather. It's grey but warm out there...

Ninkaninus · 18/05/2019 12:11

Ella it doesn’t come up in the sale, it’s on the main menu under playsuits..

Ninkaninus · 18/05/2019 12:12

Score! I love a good discount. 👍

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 12:12

It's this one Ella

I ordered a medium but I reckon you'd need a small?
MRWDBDAY20
Should be a code for 20% off

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 12:15

The medium is nicely loose on me. Doesn't cling anywhere. But I think it would be too big on you so a small would probably be better. They have some lovely beach wear on there and Accessorize

GinandGingerBeer · 18/05/2019 12:25

Love that @Huffthepuff
I picked it up in monsoon yesterday & held it up against me but it looked to long and at that point I cba to try anything on.
It looks fab! Gold sandals or coral would look nice too Smile

GinandGingerBeer · 18/05/2019 12:27

They have done gorgeous beach cover ups but they're £50!
Way too £££ for something I'd only wear a few times a year.

Huffthepuff · 18/05/2019 12:32

@GinandGingerBeer it's quite cropped on me at 5.6. Yy not the cheapest place for kaftans etc but I like the fabrics they use and with the 20% off it makes it more affordable. I looked at H&M earlier and most of their summer stuff is polyester which brings me out in a sweat just thinking about it!

Does anyone understand H&M sizing? I want to order this:

m2.hm.com/m/en_gb/productpage.0721545001.html

And yes I know what I just said about polyester 😂 it says a small is 8-10 and a medium is 12-14. I'm usually a 10 in skirts but possibly a 12 if their stuff comes up small
