Grazia codes generally tend to last a week, so from Tuesday, but it doesn’t give an end date in the magazine (and the code wasn’t in the email at all - you have to have looked in the magazine).

I’ve ordered the yellow maxi Santana, Paula maxi skirt and the striped sheer jumper just to have a look see Grin

Ellapaella · 09/05/2019 14:40

Loving the kimonos. Actually for summer parties/nights out they will look lovely over a sleeveless simple black dress. I really want one but can't decide which one.

ilovecherries · 09/05/2019 15:22

Tats lovely, ella but a very ouchy price for something that is probably a trend rather than a staple. Beautiful though. And having said that about trends, I bought mine in 2016, and could have used them every summer since. I’m in Costa in the village just now after dragging a pile of eBay parcels to the PO, and I just noticed a little boutique type shop has opened in the village, with 100 star kimonos. Must avoid!

That's a lovely one @Ella but honestly the ones from one hundred stars are beautiful. I love the fact that they are designed from real plants. I think this one is stunning too [but they all are]

Kimono dilemma. Help!
Received and just threw on to show you.
Short one very versatile. Not sure the muted colours are “me” though
Long one with tie on or without great! I’m sure it’ll become favourite new dressing gown if nothing else.
And my cunning plan was to wait for their arrival and compare to Gudrun one which is the equivalent in £ to the other two...just to make me feel good about returning it.,,
But I still really like it Angry
Which one should I get rid of?

@soups your bag is stunning!! I’d love one (if I wasn’t wasting money on kimonos Grin) you must keep

@talisin thank you for the grazia code

@ella the Anthropology one is so beautiful

@nim you know I was very taken with those Moroccan prints too and nearly went for one in the short version but also in the end the botanical print won. Having said that I think I may return the short one...not sure it’s really “me”

SoyYo · 09/05/2019 15:57

Sorry meant nink

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:00

Soyo, imo my favourite on you are the short one and the one from Gudrun. It looks beautiful on you. I like the long one from one hundred stars too but if you were to send one back, it would be that one imo. I love the length and the colour of the Gudrun one more. I think it really suits you.

Ninkaninus · 09/05/2019 16:01

I think the muted colours of the first two suit you beautifully, I actually prefer them to the blue colour. I’d probably keep the first two. I see what you’re saying on the short one, but I like having options so I’d always go for one of each (unless one really didn’t suit me or I thought I would actually use it much).

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:02

I think the muted colours of the short one look lovely on you but it has to be versatile with what you would wear.

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:04

I think the short one will be worn loads more than a long one [ unless its for dressing gown purposes]

twosoups1972 · 09/05/2019 16:04

Thank you nink and Soy, I will keep the bag, too nice to send back!

nink I will try and remember to post a photo of the Mulberry bag soon.

Loving all the kimonos, so pretty Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:05

...and if you wear black, it can be thrown over black skinnies and top and look effortlessly stylish! If that colour isn't you, try the colour I have. I think it would look lovely on you too.

twosoups1972 · 09/05/2019 16:06

@Soy sorry to go against the grain, but I really love the colours of the blue one. But I can see what you mean about the shorter one being more versatile. Do they do the blue in a shorter version?

SoyYo · 09/05/2019 16:09

Thank you girls. I needed help deciding and much as I love the Gudrun dark blue print if I’m honest not sure it loves me...it’s very very long and can’t see myself wearing with jeans...it’ll probably end up being a very expensive beach cover up and can’t really double up as a dressing gown because it doesn’t come with a tie.
I wear an awful lot (too much) black so the muted grey/pink shades of the shorter one are probably more versatile and easy to throw on every day

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:10

I agree with you @soups - keep the long blue one. I really like the green shorter one but if you don't like it return it and order one that is shorter and that has more punchy colours? I love the colours in mine but I love a purply grey blue. The one to return would be the middle one.

SoyYo · 09/05/2019 16:12

@soups unfortunately no only this super long version...the fabric is superb chiffon (slightly see through) but being totally honest will not get near the same amount of wear of a short one...shame
Maybe I should try a different pattern on the short one @never I’ll mull it over because I like darker shades as you know and if it’s too jolly I’ll end up not wearing it at all.

SoyYo · 09/05/2019 16:14

The middle one is my new dressing gown. Because it has a tie and I need a new dressing gown! Grin
I actually need it and better than a boring M&S thing

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:14

Ah, just seen your post @soyo. Yeh, not sure I would wear the blue one very much because of the length. It is gorgeous though. Could you get it shortened?

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:16

Oh definitely keep the middle one. Send the blue one back then and order one like mine! Job done :) Unless you have the Gudrun shortened, which would probably cost you about £10 here where I live but worth it if you love it.

SoyYo · 09/05/2019 16:17

Specially because I sleep with just t and pants on, only wear proper jammies in the middle of winter and my fleecy winter dressing gown is too warm.
With regret I’m returning Gudrun due to not figuring out how much wear I’ll get out of it and consider keeping or exchanging the shorter one.
Thank you as you didn’t confuse me but helped me work it out Smile

Ninkaninus · 09/05/2019 16:18

I wonder, since the short kimono isn’t breaking the bank, and since you’re sending the other one back anyway, whether it’s worth keeping it and just making a point of using it over the summer whenever you have an opportunity? Only because once in a while I actually think it’s good to step out of one’s comfort zone a little, even if at first it doesn’t seem like ‘you’ - it helps me, anyway, not to get in too much of a rut with colours, styles, etc. I really do think it’s beautiful on you.

At least waft around in it at home for a day or two, just to see if it grows on you.... Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:19

once in a while I actually think it’s good to step out of one’s comfort zone a little Totally agree with this!

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2019 16:21

I think the middle one makes a beautiful dressing gown. I would consider buying one too but trying not to spend anymore atm.
