BodyShop Absinthe Handwash (I use as showergel)

Superdrug Optimum Serum (one of those pesky pump bottles that are good because they're airtight and deliver one dose per squeeze , but they still feel heavy even when they're done and I'm squeezing the pump for nothing ) . Might get a new one as they're on special offer.

Superdrug H&S type shampoo - which is DS but there was one squeeze left and he still has a new bottle .

Joules body scrub from a birthday gift set finished. A Nice but strong smell. Very rosey.

But one down.

• Loreal eye shadow on a stick thing in green - not intense enough but a good base
• Pamper Me Mandarin & Lime mini bath truffles: ok but not a lasting scent

what exavtly is a 'bath truffle' ?

Does anyone else accumulate there empty things to remember what they've used to declare on here then bin them.?

I used another mini Clarins face scrub. They have loads? Wouldn't know the difference, too lazy to google and look!

Lacura hot cloth cleanser. I really liked this, Will possibly repurchase when ive used my two N07 ones. Thinking of buying the Dermologica pre cleanse balm. Comes in a £44 though. I don't need it, but I like it.

Aveeno body lotion. Want to try other body creams/lotions and oils, so wont buy again any time soon.

I have spent money again though.. Snow fairy shower gel and gift set from Lush. Essie nail polish sets, and a Beauty pro mask set. Will be using the black peel off mask tonight. Ive never actually used a charcoal peel off, I know it will hurt, i want to see what comes out of my face

I have finished a Clarins hand and nail treatment which was lovely but have 2 other hand creams to use before buying any more.

I'm still impressed with my Beauty Pie products so far although I could do with a night cream. Just used some of my advent calendar Ritual of Dao night balm for the hands. I absolutely love the smell of it, can't stop sniffing my hands!

Couple of empties.

Pixie Glow Tonic. Not sure what it was supposed to do. I usually like Clinique clarifying lotion and tried this for a change as Clinique can be a bit harsh but this was a bit meh.

Encroyable Blow Dry Lotion by Kerastase. Took ages to use this up as I have fine hair and it made it a bit greasy. I also have to confess that I didn't actually use it up but dropped a 90% completed bottle onto the tiled floor and it exploded across a surprisingly wide area.

Soap. Not hugely exciting but the shower is now plastic free and I've started using up a load of hotel soaps as body wash. This soap has lasted a month! Sometimes 2 showers a day. Just goes to show how much is wasted at hotels. I'm a total convert to soap now. Shower gel seems quite icky.

Dentiste herbal therapeutic toothpaste. Bought when last back in UK and seems French. Nice. Liked it.

Chucked two Chanel powder compacts I was harbouring which had literally crumbs left and a Rimmel eyebrow pencil in Blonde because the last time I used it a friend gasped 'what the HELL have you done to your eyebrows'?

Chucked a Dove Summer moisturiser. Was about 4 years old and made me feel like I was sweating profusely

Essie gel setter- my go to top coat. Had to buy thinner for it has it gooped up. Have one in back up.

Cherry chapstick.

Good to moisturise shea body butter 50ml. Meh, find other creams better. Small tub, one use!

@LivingDeadGirlUK basically a mini bath bomb - they weren't that good although did soften water

I have an empty from my 14 by Valentines list:

• Neutrogena Norweigan Formula concentrated hand cream: very moisturising and lasted a good fair time as you do not need much

I save my empties for here too - and I even hide them from my cleaner if I haven't got round to posting!

I've finished a Korres wild rose advanced repair sleeping facial from the previous M&S advent if I recall correctly. I really liked it and hoped there would be a duplicate in this years' but was sadly let down! I'm not sure I like it enough to purchase a full size but it was nice to use now and then.
I've also finished a really, really old travel size tigi shampoo and conditioner. I found them in my old gym bag from sixth form (I am thirty years old...)
They weren't great but I suspect they might have been better ten years ago!!

@NakedAvenger can I ask a silly question? With the soap do you just lather it up and your hands and rub yourself with it?! I use a shower gel on one of those plastic net flower/puff things and I don't think I'd feel quite right using just soap on my hands.
I've switched to bar soap for the sinks but can't bring myself to use it in the shower too.
Slightly academic as I probably have enough shower gel in the stash to last my entire life...

cant when I was using soap I just lathered it in my hands. This was before we moved though. Now we’re in our new place dh insisted on a shower puff so bought one each. I was a bit 🙄 at more plastic but it does last for ages so...

I just rub it directly over wet skin. When I'm feeling I need a scrub I then use a shower puff onto the soapy skin (yes okay that is plastic but it was there already and I'll hold onto it for a good while and won't replace) Works exactly the same way as if you had shower gel on and lathers it up even more!

tinyradish Just saw that you bought Benefit Porefessional. I used it today for the first time as it was a teeny tiny miniature and I am trying to use my miniatures first so that I can feel motivated with empties! I love it so far! My skin felt incredibly smooth and my foundation is looking much better than with any other primer I've used. I did find that I used loads of it in one application though. Do you rate it?

I am hugely impressed, but I've seen that it is a silicon based primer and my foundation is always water based (YSL Touche Eclat foundation today), and I always thought that the rule was that you should use a primer that is silicon or water based to match your silicon or water based foundation. I am wondering whether I have got it all wrong.

cant I have used bar soap for years and years and I just rub it between my hands and lather, using my hands then to wash myself. I use shower gel only as a bath foam.

caggie I have never ever in my life used up a whole lip balm. I have a million half full ones in handbags. kudos to you.

I am up for swaps. Particularly to get rid of body lotion as I have calculated that I have enough to last me for three years, assuming that I moisturise every inch of my body every two days (not gonna happen!). I also had the Liberty advent calendar this year which was lovely, but contained hair products that I will never use on my very fine hair.

I haven't tried it yet @welltidy! Have heard lots of good things about it before so thought I'd give it a go rather than my usual 'that gal' primer (love that one - really helps to brighten up my dull skin.) Great to know that you like it :)

Please let me know what you think tinyradish when you’ve sampled it. I will use mine until it is empty (I think I have a week’s worth or so).

Empty: prai neck and throat cream 15 ml from an m and s calendar - liked very much, but will use a face moisturiser from my stash on my neck now.

Couldnt really see what came out with mask, sort of bunched up when i ripped it off Id quite like to buy a tube and do one regularly!

Well, i must use the same lip balm for months until its gone. At one stage i had 30+, so i like to speed through them!

Only empty i have is Soap and Glory, Sugar crush body buttercream mini tub. I know people love this scent, but its too ''limey'' for me, too artifical. Slathered it on my feet, i didnt want to whaff about smelling like limeade

And would love to smell of limeade. Could go a limeade actually!!!

Empty! Joules rose shower gel. That’s two off my list I think.

ememem do you find that you use loads of porefessional per application? I felt that I did, despite my skin being more moisturised than ever due to me using so much of my stash.

Yeah I do. I mean it’s great. But it doesn’t last long. I only buy if on special. Or use if I get it as a gift.

May treat myself though once I’m done with my boring max factor primer.

Have you tried the smash box ones? The photo finish one is good.
